Do you know how far high or low Jim Toth is on CAA's totem pole? I always found it strange that an A-list actress would date an agent unless he was one of the big-wigs. I had never heard of him until she started dating him.

A-list actress? Not anymore. A-list name recognition, but actual A-list status is gone. A distant memory. Box office receipts will either make or break an actor/actress list status. She's been bombing at the box office for several years now, and can't justify her salary. That's why she has been reworking her image, and trying to change things up with her movie roles. Reese changed her PR team + has Jim shilling for her. Jim's not on the Huvane brothers level at CAA, but he is trying to get there. He worked his way up from the mail room.

Reese and Jim are another strategic Hollyweird arrangement/trade-off, but are made for each other (cutthroat egoists). He's trying to get to the top of CAA, and she's trying to hang on to her paycheck. If he makes it to the top, then she's set even with paltry box office receipts. That's why Reese has been more open (selling her wedding pics to People, US Weekly pregnancy story, Elle Decor on her home, shilling her new marriage).

She has several factors working against her though- her age, her image change hasn't helped her box office receipts, and the competition she faces who are also less expensive.

I think she's been humbled or feels desperate because I only heard pleasant things about her when she was filming Devil's Knot here in Atlanta. Or else she was doing her Sweet Southern Belle act.

Sandra had $100 million in her bank account, and movie studios/agents/entertainment agency/assistants depending on her for their livelihood.

I have a few peppermint drops to add to this community tea kettle. A relative of mine dropped tea on XMas but I didn't think it was that major to make a thread so here it is: my relative works for a store and specializes in musical instruments. He has met and had a few convos with celebs. The notable one was Terrance Howard. My fam was pleasantly surprised that he knew his music (in terms of technicality/machinery) and said that he would come in on occasion to play around w/ things. Said he made "weird" choices in musical notes etc. (aka Terrance was starting to see spaceships on Bankhead all the way in NYC if you get my drift LOL) and came in with a drunken glaze over his face. The same relative did a sidegig with DJ Bobby Trends who was mad cool but also mad high LOL; and met Lady Gaga who was nice and very small.

Met model Damaris Lewis (I remembered her name due to the font LOL), came off like a few NYC birds I went to school with; thought she was hot sh!t.

Unfortunately, the tea spiller did not elaborate on what exactly went on but one can only imagine. I once tried to find info about that club but found nothing. If it was true tea, I wonder if that club was fundamentally an invite only private members club? Would make sense. Hmmmmm.

In the 90s it turned into a semi-legal spot to throw glorified house parties in.

It really wasn't as big a deal as it sounds like the "tea spiller" made it sound like.

Fraternities threw parties there, local designers like Moshood threw parties there, rappers who needed to hustle up their rent money would throw parties there.

It was a fun spot, but definitely not glam.

Some of the regular parties were "dl industry hookup" shindigs.

I personally don't know if Jay Z used to attend those parties.
