I didn't think you were necessarily that one poster who replies with "azumanga and evangelion" (who thinks they're the best animes ever made - because they're the only one's he's seen / his first ones), but you pointing out that your "third anime" was Death Note combined with "maybe I should have watched the dub" and having poor attention ability ("I started to lose track") and being a ClipboardImage poster (in other words: a phonetoddler) strongly indicated one of them was NGE (as it's a typical "babby's first" anime, and always been popular amongst low teenaged anime watchers) with like over 85% likelihood and Azumanga was like a 55% chance (because of where we are and because it's popular again - the likelihood Azumanga is one of the first animes people here new to anime see and people nowadays see is high).
