Emoticon. An animated image (GIF) which is used in Skype chat. Please note that the speed and quality of the picture may be slightly different from the original emoticon. If you want to see a full-size image, click on the emoticon name.
Description. The name of the emoticon with reference to a separate page where you can see a full-size emoticon and find more details about it. Also, this column contains labels that describe emoticon and allow you to find similar emoticons. If you click on the tag will be displayed only smiles with this tag (furthermore, you can select multiple tags, in order to narrow down the list of smiles). To exclude a tag from the filter, click on it again.
Code. Usually to send a emoticon in the Skype chat, users use emoticon picker. But there is another way — you can send to your friend a special code that will be converted to emoticon (apropos, is the only way to send hidden emoticons). Each Skype emoticon has one or more special codes and they all are listed on this page (to show hidden codes simply click on the symbol ↓ next to the desired emoticon).

With the introduction of the Bollywood emoticons, there was one with an Indian lunchbox, a dabbawala, in the normal list (so, not a hidden emoticon). However, it is now gone with the introduction of today's new emoticons and it is not in the list above.. Does anyone remember the code?

  This emoticon has been removed in 6.14.0.104 version and doesn't works anymore. However, along with the fubar emoticon in that version have been removed finger and wtf, which began working again about a month ago (maybe soon developers will return and the fubar one).

Hi I cant see all of these new addition of emotions.Insedt of animation I an see is keyword for it
Ex: (Fireworks), (laddu), etc
I tried to install the latest version and reinstalling the older version and updating it. but it didn't work in both the cases. The skype version is 7.17.0.105.
I have taken the screen shot of how it looks (The issue) but couldn't find option to attache it.
Please help me out on this.

Hi, I am trying to get these to work in my skype. We just got upgraded to Skype for Business 2013. I don't know how to tell which version I have, and I have tried to send things to another rep and nothing comes up on their screen except for the words that I sent. 2. If possible, maybe add a function to sort by "Last date added" or something, to easily see the last 4 or 5 newly added emoticons without needing to scan all the (very long) page?

Anyway, not major, just a little potential improvement on a a fabulous resource, the only one that is complete, regulary updated, with feedback for small errors that is really used for corrections, etc.

You are FAR better than Skype official help!!!

Also a while back when I told you about the dadtime emoji... you said i was mistaking it for the familytime emoji. And I mentioned they were not the same. If you look family time is a woman and a little boy and girl and dadtime is a man with a little boy and girl. The adults are different though.

  As for Dad Time, I'm not sure, but since this year Father's Day was celebrated on June 18, I think that the emoticon could not have appeared earlier for several months of this date (in addition, on June 23 Guilherme also said that, among others, there was added a new emoticon “Dad Time”).     I believe family time was out before dad time. Dad time showed up around fathers day. I'm not sure about family time, but think it was earlier in the year. I just was pointing out the difference.

- allow "sort by date added (reversed)" to get to new additions fast

- allow multiple downloads (maybe with check marks?) in highest resolution to speed up retrieval and local archive (would significantly reduce the number of clicks! )

  Tap the up arrow key or right click the message and select edit. Add a space, period or any type of edit and hit enter to make the edit. The emoticon will show up and then anytime you use that emoticon again it should show up without needing to do the edit. You could also post the emoticon again in a seperate message, but editting it prevents reposting.

In Skype 8, the "" has suddenly disappeared.
I hope this is a temporary mistake.
Why would they delete a flower?

I used this emotiocon a lot,
so I'm very unhappy on top of all the upgrade problems.

In general, for years already, Skype gives emoticons
and then suddenly takes some of them away without notice... :/

Thank you for this list! I have a recommendation. You should add the other icons/art that are available in the mobile version of skype when you send a picture to someone. For example, there are arrows and other pictures that aren't available in the desktop version.

Skype for desktop 8.52.0.138 n android (updated date was 24/Sep.2019)
A LOT of emos have disappeared I can view them or used them eg (speechless) i can see the emo, but when i click it came out blanks and other emo like flags etc hand gestures for (clapping) ALL GONE, blanks entirely
This happen to BOTH my desktop version n mobile version, please rescue the skype and give me them all the well loved emos! Now I cant even express (angry) but (anger) does well
