Hey! I'm David Jaffe- welcome to my Patreon page! I love that you are considering joining me on this new adventure! Thank you for that :)! You may know me as the game director/lead creator of the original GOD OF WAR franchise. If you're not familiar, here's a pic of the box art: You might also know me as the co-director/co-creator of the Twisted Metal series* It's the one with the ice cream truck and the clown: Over the last 20+ years, I've worked on a bunch of other games too. But GOD OF WAR and TWISTED METAL are my biggest titles. These days I'm taking a break from game making because I have FALLEN IN LOVE with live streaming. I've been doing it full time for the last 18 months and I'm having a total blast. And honestly- if I may toot my own horn and the horn of the various folks who make up the regulars of the stream- I think we've cobbled together a pretty great, unique, and very entertaining show. And it's called THE JAFFE STREAM: So what IS THE JAFFE STREAM, exactly? Honestly, if you've never seen one, here's a link to the Youtube page. Ok...welcome back! :) So some details about what THE JAFFE STREAM is (and is not):  Well, it's not a gaming stream (although I DO stream games every now and then). And I'm not painting pictures live or making cosplay on camera or anything like that. Nope- THE JAFFE STREAM is all about TALK!  See, to me, there's just nothing like having a fantastic conversation (and, I'll admit, sometimes debate) with other passionate people! THAT is what THE JAFFE STREAM is all about!  I just ADORE firing up the stream, sliding behind the mic, and talking with the world about video games, geeky pop culture happenings, and creepy topics like ghosts, ufos, after-life theories, and all sorts of other weird topics! If it's gaming, geeky, or weird, we're gonna be talking about it on THE JAFFE STREAM. 'Ah, got it', you say. 'THE JAFFE STREAM is a podcast! Yeah, I love me some podca-' Err, well...no, it's not really a podcast either. See, unlike podcasts where you just listen, THE JAFFE STREAM really comes alive when you participate. THE JAFFE STREAM is LIVE and ROWDY and HIGHLY interactive. Chat plays a huge part, as do the live calls that come in over our Discord. And please know, it's not just random conversation and 'anything goes' chit-chat. Sure, we have an anything goes stream once/week but all of the other shows are planned out and researched. That way, almost every time you tune in you can count on an actual SHOW that YOU get to participate in, with structure, planned and researched topics, and sometimes even guests. I try my best to stream 5 days a week, but I guarantee at least 3. And each show is around 2 hours long. So over a single week you'll be getting 6-12 hours of JAFFE STREAM goodness! Plus I stream on weekends from time to time as well.  Ok, so that's the gist! That's THE JAFFE STREAM!  If it sounds like something you may like, I hope you'll watch the live streams for a bit and then- when you are ready- seriously consider tossing some of your hard earned cash into THE JAFFE STREAM coffers.
