The problem with Indians within India is that we don't give a flying F about public infrastructure.
It's been so long that we have been ignoring violation of public safety standards that we've forgotten what it means to follow rules and live within the confines of society.
In India itself we have crackers being burst near hospitals, at late night, not disposing off the waste properly, hazardous rockets that set fire to people's balconies.
If we call them out in India : we are labelled anti national. Police are outnumbered can't do shit. So naturally when we do the same abroad - will it be tolerated?
Wake up people of India, it's not about expression of religious identity, it's not about Hindu muslim, it's about systemic failure of Indian society and government.
We ourselves have made a mockery of our religions and cultures. I don't understand what blind pride we have.
Acknowledging this problem doesn't make you have a colonial hangover or validation seeker - how dense can you be to not see this?

We lack the sense of empathy, indian culture is a self centred culture. We have been taught to keep our house clean and throw the trash outside, aapna sahi rehna chahiye, baki khudka dekh lenge, this is the reason when people celebrated Diwali there they thought about their enjoyment not the problem they are causing to others.
Even this isn't fully accurate. Because at home it's the Raja Beta & Papa ki pari Syndrome (mothers doing everything like picking up the plates) and there's the Maid dependence.
It's unimaginable for majority of Indians what it's like to keep their homes clean by themselves. When they move abroad and have to manage their houses by themselves, they experience a lot of "difficulties."
If that's the scene inside the house, so is it that surprising that these guys don't know how to behave outside the house. Because the outside in India is worse than inside.
Same is the case in India. Those 2 days of Diwali nobody could sleep because of a bunch of idiots who think bursting fire crackers from mid night till morning is the correct meaning of Diwali according to our culture and religion.
Nobody is denying the right to celebrate but that doesn't mean you forget all basic civility.
At most people used to burst crackers till 10:00 pm but recently these idiots from last 2-3 years burst crackers till 2:00 am in the morning I was unable to sleep because of these idiots

Indians are not seeing even the hypocricy. America granted permissions to use roads for religious festivals. Yahan muslims maang lenge 10 min k liye road id pe namaz k liye toh maar peet ho jaegi🤣. Since you mentioned rice bag. Aadhe se zayada logon ko yeh nahi pata ke rice bag conversion toh North mein hain. States jaise Kerala, Goa, Mangalore, North East and along the coastal regions didn't have to resort to rice bag conversions. These people converted willingly hundreds of years ago and many were forward castes. There is a limit to illiteracy and ignorance.
