  I just installed the Debian 13 template on a new VPS (bought yesterday) located in the SG DC1 data center. The server has been left completely idle, with no additional packages or services running. However, in less than 24 hours, the bandwidth consumption has exceeded 750MB.

  I think maybe the installer downloaded update packages, I will leave it there few days, turn it off another few days, then see report.

  I'm 3 days in already Although I really don't mind it since the server doing very little work, and is idle 99% of the time. There's no way it will be able to go through all 750GB monthly bandwidth but it's strange for sure.

  My impression is that xTom's data centers have always had an internal network ARP broadcast storm issue. xTom seems to have only resolved this problem in their JP data center by segmenting VLANs. I have a V.PS idle vps in xTom's Frankfurt data center that also has this issue, consuming tens of gb of broadcast traffic per month, and xTom/V.PS doesn't seem to have plans to fix it.

  However, I'm not sure if GreenCloud's use of xTom data centers has this issue, as my SG DC1 is not idle.

  Yes, I'm not complaining per se, but the flash deals are a little too limited - but that's the downside of making them so good - you can't give away too many loss-causing services.

  I got two amazing regular deals om the 1212 page, so I am still happy.

  These are Pre sales in SG1 and LA1. SG' traffic is almost 500mb

  I'm too lazy to do tcpdump. There may be broadcast packet or something.

  Do flash deals for new customers and you'll probably achieve that faster. More satisfied customers = Better ratings on TrustPilot.

  New people bumping review score just for the sake of it would be even worse. People should have some experience with the provider before leaving the review. That's usually how it works.
