What made me lose all my trust in all mainstream religions and why I believe in the prison planet theory

A few years ago, after reflecting on this deeply, I came to a big realization: religion is not universal truth. It is an accident of birth. Where and when you are born determines what God you worship, what holy book you follow, and what morals you are taught. History proves this again and again, and it shows that trusting these religions as absolute truth is simply illogical.

The Romans example

For centuries, Romans worshiped Jupiter, Mars, Venus, and a full pantheon of Gods. This was the official state religion, backed by temples, sacrifices, and priests. People there were convinced that these Gods represented the figures they were supposed to worship. But what happened a couple centuries later? Rome abandoned all of that and converted to Christianity. Suddenly, the Gods that everyone worshipped for hundreds of years were labeled "false" and the Bible became the new truth. So if you had been born in Rome just a century earlier, your entire worldview, morals, and "truth" about God would have been completely different than they are now for the local people.

India–Pakistan border example

If you were born in Lahore (Pakistan), chances are you would be raised Muslim. But if you were born just a few kilometers away across the border in Amritsar (India), you would most likely be raised Hindu or Sikh. Two people born almost side by side, but because of an invisible political line, they grow up with completely different gods, holy books, rituals, and moral codes. Both sides believe their faith is the absolute truth and that the other religion is wrong.

Europe example

If you look at maps of Europe throughout history, you will see how every few hundred years borders shift, kingdoms rise and fall, and along with them, religions, values, and beliefs completely change. One century people worship one god, a few centuries later they worship a different one. If you were born in Europe at a different time, chances are you would have prayed to an entirely different deity with an entirely different set of rules.

If you were born in Northern Europe a thousand years ago, you would likely be a follower of Odin, Thor, Freya, and the other Norse gods. You would participate in their rituals, which often included sacrifices such as animals, food, or valuable items, offered to the gods to gain favor, protection, or success in battle. Your moral framework, values, and daily life would revolve around honoring these deities. Yet, if you were born in the same region a few centuries later, all of that would be abandoned. Christianity would have taken over, the gods you once worshiped would be labeled false and a completely different set of rules, morals, and holy texts would dictate how you live your life. The only thing that changes is when and where you were born. This shows how arbitrary and situational religion truly is.

North America example

North America adopted Christianity simply because European colonizers brought it there. But what if North America had been colonized by people with a different religion from somewhere else? If you live in the USA or Canada today, you would probably be practicing a totally different faith, and you'd be told to worship a totally different God, just because of that. Perhaps another century from now, Christianity itself will be abolished and replaced with another religion that fiercely opposes the very god people worship in North America today. So does it really make sense to devote your entire life to one particular religion, worshiping and praying to a "local god" when history shows that such gods and belief systems are so easily discarded and replaced?

Australia example

For tens of thousands of years, Aboriginal people in Australia followed their own spiritual traditions. Then Europeans arrived and brought Christianity, which became the dominant religion. If you were born in the same place just a few centuries earlier, you would have had completely different gods, stories, and morals.

What does this prove?

This proves that religions are not eternal truths. They are temporary belief systems, shifting with power, politics, and geography.

Someone in your life might have told you, or maybe still tells you that you need to "pray to God!" or "worship God!". But think about it for a second. If you had been born in the same place but in a different era, that "god" could have been a completely different one, with a completely different set of morals and commandments. So how does that make any sense? How is it that the supposed eternal truth of the universe changes depending on when and where you are born? It doesn't make sense, and, this shows that religion is in fact cultural programming.

On top of that, it is not just about where and when you are born. Even within the same country, sometimes even within the same city, there are countless denominations, sects, and sub-religions that contradict each other. The particular family you happen to be born into can also end up deciding your faith for you.

It is one big mess, yet people refuse to see it for what it is because they fear that their temporary god, a god whom they might abandon or even vehemently oppose just a few centuries later if they were to live that long, could become upset with them. Nobody wants to confront the obvious logical fallacies at the heart of it all.

The only thing that makes sense for me

What does this all show? It shows that it really doesn't matter what people from my country claim God is like, and it really doesn't matter what people from your country claim God is like. Every culture has a different opinion, therefore, it is impossible to know what God is really like based on people's opinions. Period.

The only way we can get an idea of what God is like is by observing God's actions. And what better way to do that than by observing God's creation? What do God's actions reveal about who God is?

Look at the world. God's actions show a system built on suffering, predation, and exploitation. Every living being survives by consuming another, and in most cases, this happens violently. Humans, animals, and insects all must attack, kill and eat another living being in order to survive.

Mainstream religions try to cover this up with promises of salvation, offering hope and moral guidance that contradict what we actually see in the world. Their stories shift constantly with time and culture, changing from century to century and place to place. But the core reality remains the same: this world is built on survival, predation, and suffering. That is why I find the prison planet theory and Gnosticism the most compelling: they reflect the consistent truth we can observe for ourselves. And when you also examine the metaphysical evidence, this conclusion only becomes clearer.

The world itself shows that the being who created it either has no empathy at best or is extremely malevolent and sadistic at worst. All religions try to hide this truth. Covering the prison walls with beautiful stories will not change reality. Every living being is placed in a system where they must kill or be killed to survive. The amount of suffering that every creature on this planet is subjected to is overwhelming, and it is built into the very design of existence itself. A being who creates a world like this is not only unworthy of worship, but they deserve condemnation from everyone. By designing life in such a cruel and violent way, God shows himself to be the opposite of good.

Such a good point. Actions show who someone is.

A creator's creations show a lot about what kind of person the creator is.

I'm assuming that's the false God though and the "true" God is above that label.. It is The Source, The Monad, The One.

Source as once ( it is in lessor weaker darker forms now ) was is not present here anymore in full force hense why your earth is how it is . The system & entities are running on evaporating leftover fumes of once absolute power deities who also came from once in the beginning of source 's primordial original creations .

Hense why they run it in darkness enough to meet supply demands to give them control power still . Each cycling through makes equilibrium fields of possibility to form to make the system possibility dysfunction enough to build a different outcome . Just like each Patheon change over lost it's powers through each destruction event on purpose & resulting in rebirth into a lessor form & where they have to take life ( or get power from others to do so ) to cast darker powers to control what is in place .

The falsity GOd created rules here with others. Hense why it is an absolute s*it hole of a mess for humans who are at the bottom being ruled . And why the top are in ruling positions of domination & power over the masses . All source beings were hunted & targeted for take out ( to lesson their also possibilities of rising ) or conversion by force to more darker presence .

Yeah I came to a similar conclusion. Religion is INDOCTRINATED and not observable.

If you destroy all the Christian or some other religion's text and artifacts. Nobody will ever come up with the myth again. It will just be gone forever and the world will keep going. How is that divine communication?

Meanwhile even if you destroy PPT/Gnostic material. People are able to reconstruct the basics of it from observing reality. This creation is malevolent and cruel. Everything requires extracting suffering and predation. Some people are not quite people (NPCs and archons/demons). You are punished for not participating and truth-telling but rewarded if you act like a loosh generator. As above so below. You can't trust the unseen realms if they consent and perpetuate these kinds of systems.

What I don't understand is why there are so many religions worshiping a creator when it's obvious it must be psychopathic. It's completely illogical. Really the best evidence that a large part of humanity are NPCs just put here to trick you and manufacture consensus.

You hit the nail on the head with that clever comment: "You're punished if you refuse to participate, but rewarded for being a generator of loosh suffering energy." It's bizarre and twisted, whichever way you look at it.

agree with all of this

I was brought up catholic. After I took western civilization in high school and learned about the Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition, Protestants and the selling of dispensation, I became a skeptic. Then the massive catholic pedophilia thing broke and my skepticism turned to certainty and open hostility. Religion is simply another control system. The place to search for truth is within.

My mom would make me go to church with her every Sunday. My mom didn’t speak English and I would beg her to buy me Marilyn Manson shirts and I would wear them to church 😂 At the age of 10 I started saying I was a Satanist and I would have to be dragged to church. Of course being a satanist was stupid too, but the point is, I was rebelling from a young age cause I knew it was bullshit. And now I’m in my late 30s and I don’t understand how people don’t see how through the bullshit. But to be fair, I didn’t see through the bullshit of the new age for a long time.

I was watching 90 Day fiancé and there’s two Muslim guys on season 8 and omg this fucking religion - its all about submission to God and control 🤮

Religion is typically considered control to keep people following rules and order. It’s needed by elite to keep ignorant people from running around killing others. We are all meant to become wise and Karen from the teachings but some refuse to learn. Ir horse and water.

So we have to have something in place to prevent anarchy. If you become wise you understand the mission to escape but it takes time and learning and practicing mindfulness and creating tools helps keep focus on the goal.

You also have a third group who are obsessed with the now and pleasure, the liars cheats and conmen of the world who will use people ignorance to make money to buy power. Rent seekers.

I’ll type more later have to do chores

The Apocryphal books of the Holy Bible (Holey, By Baal) present an accurate picture I think, hence why they aren't taught

That's why i'm vegan. It's my way of protesting against the design of this world, that another world is possible, at least a drastic reduction in suffering. Each year, humans kill trillions of animals for food, entertainment, clothing, etc. Imagine if everyone went vegan and stopped exploiting others, clearly said NO to violence, we would have a different world. But our problem is not religions, it is US. We have a choice, to live in violent ways or to embrace non violence. Unfortunately, humans chose the barbarian way.

But lets be honest, we cannot change this world if we kill trillions of animals just to feed, when we can live in peace eating plants (please dont compare eating corpses to plants because if i give you a knife and ask you to kill either a cat or a carrot, we'll all know what people will pick.)

Edited

I 100% understand your sentiment, and i've been thinking about going vegan one day too. I respect your way of reducing unnecessary suffering, and i agree with you that humans can and should minimize the harm we cause wherever possible.

But there's something I think that goes deeper. You said the problem is "us" and while that's true on one level, the bigger problem is the design of this world itself. No matter what we do, we're still trapped in a system where survival requires killing. If we don't kill animals, we kill plants, and plants are also alive and cling to life just as much as we do. Even the most peaceful human still has to consume and destroy other life just to stay alive.

That's the trap. We cannot escape it. This system forces all living beings into violence, predation, and suffering from birth until death. This shows the nature of the creator of this world: not a loving God like we've been taught, but a truly evil being who built a reality based on exploitation, pain, suffering and death. Therefore, God (in fact Satan/the Demiurge) is responsible for all of the suffering that has ever existed on this planet and all the suffering that will exist on this planet.

This planet is based on suffering, for sure. If there is a god, it is not a good entity but a really horrible one. Thats why personally i dont believe in any loving God.

Unfortunately we cannot change the way this planet is. That's why i went vegan in my teenage years, to not participate in this horrible suffering that animals go through. They suffer the ultimate price here, way worse than humans do. Imagine living in a cage all your life and the only time you get out is to be slaughtered. Insane stuff, and that's not the planet, no, that's humans. I even prefer hunter-gatherers as a concept than the way humans are eating animals now. All locked up in tiny cages or massive warehouses. Pigs suffer the worst fate. If you watch a video on the life of these animals, especially pigs, you will stop sleeping for months.

So no we cannot stop this planet's design but we can alleviate suffering because we have a choice, really. Other animals dont have this choice.

I agree. I went vegetarian in the 1970s. Then I went vegan in the 1990s. I got sick from lack of protein and oxalate loading. I did Carnivore at age 60 and it helped my health. (I was a health nut in that I worked out, did Anerobic And Aerobics, all types of exercise.) I still got sick. Carnivore helped me get healthier, though I hate it. I hadn't had beef since age 12 in 1973, but had to in order to heal at the old age of 60 years finally. And I have come to the conclusion that Veganism is also a lie and a cult.

EVERYTHING eats EVERYTHING ELSE in the Garden of Eatin' on the planet, or Plan E.T. It's by design we are all eating something that was once alive.

Ask yourself, why do all the exorbitantly rich have RANCHES with cattle or other farm animals? Because they know the healthiest options are mammals.

We, however get the grains, oatmeal, rice, plants and lower common denominator meats, the reptiles (chickens, turkeys) are FOWL/FOUL. Plants protect themselves against bugs (and humans) with oxalates, which mess up our endocrine systems. Most of the fruits and plants have been hybridized, frankenfood created which we now call GMO, or changed so much that they no longer are what they originally looked like. Our bodies can't figure it out. Our bodies mitochondria gets worn down from all the abrasive fiber. Our colons get inflamed. It's all grains, plants grown in bulk to feed us, which is CHEAP to do and get wealth off the Vegan PSYOP while doing it; while the rich feast on healthy mammals. Don't even begin with SOY and how much arsenic is in it from the soil, corn and how it is now considered a pesticide there is so many chemicals in it on the cellular level to keep it growing and not be destroyed by bugs eating it. Have any gut health issues or pain? Hmmm...

Veganism makes for undernourished people, which means weak, and not able to fight back mentally or physically. You may not have an issue with being a vegan right now, but wait until your hair starts falling out, you get the jitters, or you are dumping so many oxalates your doctor tells you to avoid them like the plague due to kidneys starting to fail. I could go on and on about this but you get the gist. I love animals. Wish I didn't have to eat the, I'd be dead now if I didn't though. (former vegetarian/began who hates meat but wants to stay alive and not in pain). Also, when you think about the Vegans pushing their narrative (the PSYOP), think about how many people dumped animal proteins which are being threatened by increasing populations. the rich CAN'T have that. So lets' create a vegan protocol. Thanks to all the New Age PSYOPS back in the day for this. Reagan and previous leasers loved how we fell in line for that one.

How many plants does it take to finally kill a kidney? Stevia is another one. Touted as safe and perfect sugar replacement. Uhm, it's a CONTRACEPTIVE for WOMEN. "Population Resource Environment" textbook speaks of why the FDA back in the 1970s REFUSED to PASS this plant off as safe. And now, suddenly it is fine. Really? This book is chock full of how to manage all resources in an ever increasing population on this planet. Of course we get the chaff, and the rich get the good quality foods. And when the food supply becomes threatened due to shortages (1970s for us), we push Franken Food made in a lab, what we all call GM now. We push kale, quinoa, bugs, anything that can be found everywhere that can be passed off as edible.

IS anyone else seeing this nonsense?

And since the food supply isn't killing us quickly enough now, we have sabotage of cattle farms, egg/chicken farms, and 3D printers or Food Chemists who left the cigarette companies to work for Kellogs and other corporate entities producing fake foods out of garbage grown with pesticides.

Every packaged product has some toxin in it to slowly make our bodies fail. Low grade salts added and a lot of it, chemicals to enhance flavor but kill our endocrine system, create diabetes or heart disease quicker. the Rockefeller Modality Big Pharmaceutical meds will finish the job. Don't worry.

It's shocking the amount of lies you have to use to make your point. First, how the hell were you deficient in protein? Its not veganism's fault if you couldnt do any research on plant based food and daily requirements.

This just shows how many people try plant based diet and have no clue about it, eat junk or very little and then complain that veganism made them sick. No buddy, you got sick because you did not eat properly.

Veganism has been around for a long time, you know, its not a fad diet. Plus In order for sth to be a cult, you need a cult leader, otherwise its not a cult. Anybody can be a vegan, you dont owe anything to anyone. I understand you mean we all think in a weird rigid way, but honestly meat eaters do the same thing, except worse. You know plenty of people live healthy as vegans but you cant stop eating corpses so you have to belittle us. Pathetic really.

You are right about religion. Religion is cultural programming. However, true Christianity is not religion. It is different from all other religions for one reason: Jesus Christ.

The religious aspect itself isn't important; it's whom the theology points toward that matters. Yes, the god of this world is evil, and subsists upon the suffering of others, the sacrificing of animals, murder and violence. That is the god of the Old Testament. This is a sort of gnostic concept of Yaldabaoth or the Demiurge.

But Jesus is the Christ, the good news, not OF this world, but from beyond. Jesus is the Son of the MOST HIGH God, and He came down into this world to save us from this evil world, to become our redeemer and redeem us -- Jehovah Go'El. There are many other appellations; what causes so much confusion is the conflation of YHWH with the Old Testament Canaanite all-deity, Baal. YHWH is NOT Baal, is not the Old Testament God. YHWH is cognate with El Elyon, the most high, and Jesus is His only Son.

What you're describing is exactly the same pattern every religion uses: all other faiths are flawed, but yours is the "true path". Muslims say Islam is the truth, Hindus say their gods are the truth, Mormons say their scriptures are the truth. The fact that you’re saying Christianity is 'different' just proves my point: what someone believes depends almost entirely on where and when they are born. If you had been born in Saudi Arabia, you would almost certainly be saying the same words about Islam instead of Jesus. This doesn't mean Jesus isn't real to you, but it does show that claiming your religion is uniquely exempt from cultural programming is a logical fallacy.

I've tried to take this position too but I just can't navigate it. If you try this over in r/TrueChristian you'll get downvoted and called a heretic.. I see it's not working in this subreddit either :/

Religions are in place to subdue the masses into thinking there is a vengeful entity that sees all and will strike you down at some point for not obeying the laws. Santa Clause (Satan Clause-the trick parents play on their own children to make them programmable to fear an outside source. Don't worry, Jesus will come to scare the shit out of you later. Or other vengeful gods)The overlords (wealthiest families) break all types of laws, and do crimes to humanity, and yet they fear no such retribution AT ALL. This should be a clue to people that they have been duped since birth to FALL IN LINE and follow. Let that sink in.

Those few hidden families who own the bulk of resources, wealth and land masses, break EVERY Universal Law...and they WOUDN'T do this unless they KNEW that religion is a PSYOP or knew the origin of these religions. (They hold all the knowledge of what we are living in, and hid it from the masses.) If the wealthiest in these earthly lands knew there was a powerful source entity named God or whatever, and that it was going to strike you down for not OBEYING the Universal Laws, ten commandments (or other man-made rules), you'd bet your Arse they'd fall in line. There wouldn't be any of this madness of wealth hoarding psychopathic criminal nut jobs.

This place has been rigged since the beginning. We are the serfs, the slaves, the minions who have no authority in this place. We were plunked into it and must abide by its rules; rules made by the rich to keep the rich in power and wealth.

To me this place is a fake place. This is a Potemkin Village of rich idiots who torture humanity through enslavement, low grade sustenance, crummy dead lands, dirty recycled waters, poisoned waters with chemicals purposely, dumbed down indoctrinated school systems, the push for group VS independent thinking (let's all become one with the HIVE. NO FREAKING THANKS). It's a place where no one but the rich live long, healthy lives. We are bombarded with inverted, creepy media which is always negative. We are bombarded with cult, spells, grotesque TV, movies, news, theater, videos, games, stories. It's all about acquisition of materialism or wealth at the expense of someone else. It's a place where women get treated like property. It's a place where race get's treated like property. It's a place where white patriarchy destabilizes everything through chaos media all owned by the rich. It's a place where we become distracted and never seem to have enough "me" time to go within. It's a place where we are put in boxes, more boxes, and labeled and if we can't be labeled, we are then considered the enemy of this place.

What made me lose all my confidence? I grew up with a dysfunctional family of perverse and religious people, of evangelical Pentecostal confession. When studying comparative religions, I realized that their cult is not different from Afro-Cuban spiritualism and Santeria. Things like "the filling of the holy spirit" and "speaking in tongues" are also seen in cults like the kimbanda when they invoke the Pomba gira or Exú.

And to make matters worse, I witness that those same people I grew up with didn't tell stories: they are a real spirit, they can interact with the cult members, but they never tell you the truth. It simply sells you a placebo while it parasitizes you. Whatever you do, he doesn't care about you.

Then, as I grew up, I noticed that the worst kind of people were the ones who most often spoke in tongues and had communication with that deity, even knowing hidden things. It is a matter of common sense to realize the identity of the Christian god. Just put the puzzle together, you have all the evidence scattered everywhere: he is indifferent to the suffering of the innocent but it becomes manifest only in cults where he is praised en masse (concerts, churches, meetings, etc.). He does not like to be investigated or questioned. He will perform very specific miracles but only if he is going to gain something in return: for example, letting a two-year-old child die with childhood leukemia, but giving another chance to a child rapist "who repented" and he forgave him because he is "a loving god."

Things like this are the daily bread in churches. People adore a narcissistic psychopath and they don't care as long as this being throws them a few crumbs of privilege or makes them feel protected. In short: religious people may well be feeding a giant gangster and not care as long as they obtain protection and privileges from that being. No matter where you look at it, it's disgusting.
