How to Power Off the Nintendo Switch Console

  • Once you are done playing on your Nintendo Switch system, you can choose to set the system to sleep mode. This reduces power consumption and allows you to resume your game where you left off.
  • If for some reason you are unable to power off the system, press and hold down the POWER Button for at least twelve seconds.

Complete these steps

  1. To power off the system, press and hold the POWER button for at least three seconds.
