I saw a Twitchcon security guard giving one of the mobile vtuber robots a hard time. Sir, I don't think they're a threat.

To explain, they went outside for the vtuber meetup, and during the meetup, they closed the entrance to that end of the building. The escort found an unlocked door and tried to open it to get the robot back inside and a security guard stepped in front of the robot and denied.

Working real hard to stop streamers rather than help them. That's the feeling I got from Twitch con.

I could see security stopping it as a precaution. But I would hope they called for someone to escort the robot to a checkpoint where it could be tagged in properly again.

That’s… that’s so dumb.

Funny, that the Twitch "security" prioritizes dealing with VTuber robots over ensuring the safety of in-person guests. He was probably robo-racist, and had it in for that clanker. ;p
