She is the granddaughter of Nabi Karim Chowdhury. Her ancestral home is in Afjalpur village, Madhabpur Upazila, Habiganj District, Sylhet Division. Education and early career
[edit]Monna completed her primary education in Chittagong. She passed the SSC examination from Dr. Khastagir Govt. Girls' High School, Chittagong in 1996. He then passed HSC from agrabad mohila college, Chittagong . Moona Chowdhury earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Studie from the National University. She joined as a Teacher at Base Excellence School (2007–2010). Later She worked as a Senior Teacher at Saint Jude's International School & College (2010–2013)
