Founded in 2007 by Professor Tian-Li Yu, Taiwan Evolutionary Intelligence Laboratory (TEILab) specializes in evolutionary computation and genetic algorithms (GAs). The laboratory aims to advance the understanding and development of competent GAs, with research concentrated on model building, linkage learning, and facet-wise modeling. In recent years, TEILab has also expanded the research to include topics in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
