I created the thread "Poal - worse than Reddit" (archive), detailing how AOU turned Poal.co from a once somewhat decent Voat alternative into a closed circlejerk that accomplishes nothing.

I also wrote:

Their garbage image mirror Pic8.co has gone up in smoke.

It is only a matter of time until Poal.co meets the same fate.

Ironically, SearchVoat.co would shut down less than one month after that without warning.

Is any of you in contact with the owner of SearchVoat? I would suggest him to release a compressed text dump of all posts. Text compresses well, so it should be doable.

MeanwhileOnPoal was once a popular sub around here. Mostly chronicling AOU abuses. Its been a long time since the poal exodus though so its not very active now.

I only looked at searchvoat once or twice. Justin was Puttitout. Some of us exchanged proton emails on the backup voat site. I don't see where I put those though.

I used to park my second account over there when using the other on main voat. That site stayed up for a few more months.
