A little while ago on stream, I opened up my beehiiv analytics and showed how Bluesky traffic was actually relatively low to my newsletter. The biggest source? Always people that directly engage with you (sign up for a newsletter, join a Discord). I think people see the likes / replies / RTs on here

and think it automatically means people are engaging with the links you post, the videos you post, the streams you post, the audio files you post. But Bluesky carries the same seed as Twitter ie people don't want to actually leave the platform, just keep scrolling on it and scrolling on it

This is, again, why creators such as myself ultimately diversify onto platforms like Twitter. Because, in my case, it takes five seconds to find leftists, yuri fans, ASMR fans, VTuber fans, giantess fans, vore fans, and leftist critics of censorship on there
