Honeydew is garbage fruit. Jesus, why does cantaloupe think every time it gets invited to a party, it can bring along its dumb friend, honeydew?!? You don't get a plus one, cantaloupe! Part Inside Man, part Logan Lucky, and with all due respect to the appearance of Ben “Mendo” Mendolsohn, too many parts Jesus of Nazareth. Really well acted, but needed more Lakeith.

After Red Rocket I should have expected the humor, but it came as a welcomed surprise. I thought the story got a bit repetitive at times, but the acting and direction were on point and I LOVED the ending. It’s not my favorite of the year but deserving of all its praise.

There is no better director in the history of cinema at “phone scenes” than Paul Thomas Anderson, and while I might not put this in the top-tier of his overall filmography (a VERY high bar, but come back to me after a rewatch), it’s still my favorite of the year thus far, a great time at the movies, and certainly of the moment.
