To be fair, the context of the 'I love Hitler" quote makes it clear it was not earnest, and is just to have likely been a Curb Your Enthusiasm line as an offensive statement.
There are other things that were said that deserve the focus.
Peaceful protests to support Palestinians are “Antisemitism “ but “I love Hitler” & “Bring back gas chambers “ are just funning around.
