Q&A
I don’t think they’re as bad as everyone makes them out to be but they definitely have gone downhill in recent years
Agreed, they ain’t no where as near what endgame was, but if u walk into it thinking as such, ofc u felt the movie was bad..u can’t get a endgame type movie in every movie, life simply ain’t that perfect lol.😂
even love and thunder?
Yes. I enjoyed it tbh. It was a decent movie for me.
I enjoyed it too. It was fun thor adventure.
They are definitely not good enough to get me into the theatres to spend all that fuck you money they want me to spend some of them are good tv watches maybe but it's not good enough for superhero movies which are blockbuster movies whose whole point is spectacle🤷🏽♂️
That’s a good point honestly. Although some are that good that I’ve been going more than once, like Thunderbolts
Nah you gotta be kidding
I’ll back this up.
Like… here’s the thing I feel like a LOT of people are memory-holing: these films have always been wobbly on quality. But they had heart. They were doing big swings.
Now there’s an attitude of needing every swing to be a homer or it’s garbage and I think this is deeply unhealthy and frankly gross, entitled, and often rooted in bigotry.
And also, it’s addict behavior. It’s chasing the dragon with no recognition of everything that lead up the the impact of that same dragon.
So yeah. Downvote me if you must but there’s so much toxic bullshit in this fandom and it’s sad and disgusting. Like so many complaints about Taskmaster are basically “ew she’s a girl” and like for fuck’s sake grow up.
I mean, I think some of the movies since Endgame are better than people say. But I also think Endgame is... Worse than the majority of people seem to think, so my opinion can't hold my h weight LMAO
after thanos died the ending was very dragged out..
I mean if you’re not holding them to marvel standards, most have good box offices
I wouldn’t say they were bad, some were just not up to the same standard. Liek for example I found eternals boring and couldn’t follow at all (the only bit i remember was the weird beach sex bit) but love and thunder? OMG I LOVED IT SM
Here's the thing. A "bad movie" can mean different things.
A "bad" Marvel movie, to me, is now as follows...
Massive overreliance on staging/green screen, over going on location.
Poor, blurry CG.
Bad editing and flow.
Bad fight choreography.
Poor/unmemorable music.
BNW, Wakanda, MoM, TLaT, Secret Invasion, Ms Marvel and on, all hit those markers.
Now take Thunderbolts, as the latest example of not hitting those markers and compare/contrast. Equally NWH. Loki. Agatha.
Here's my take on it; if Marvel release good stuff, I'll watch it on paid services/at the theatre then I'll buy it on physical (where possible). I have every movie on a shelf that hits those points. I'll never own the rest.
I agree but it depends on where you set the bar. Quality did dip but never as low as some people make it out to be. The "worst" Marvel movies were still fun.
I mean they never got as bad as the DC slate of the same time frame.
Movies , might be more controversial since I didn't like the marvels and love and thunder at all, but I definitely loved MoM and eternals and people say it's bad too.
But these 4 projects are definitely trash
Ant and wasp quantamania
She hulk
Secret invasion
Captain America brave new world
With the exception of She Hulk I agree
