Before the second anniversary of October 7, we were invited to take part in a number of events in Argentina. For nearly two years I didn't travel abroad, so I would be here when my sons David and Ariel returned home, but that hasn't happened.

I sincerely hope your sons return to you.
Trump will not and cannot make that happen. He doesn't care about you or your sons.
I am deeply sorry to inform you that Jared Kushner is not waltzing around the middle east to create peace.

I hope your sons are returned. I hear your questions. Sadly, I have no answers.

What changed? This country was founded by liberal Ashkenazi Jews-most of them following the leftist ideas developed in Europe. The influx of the Mizrahi Jews from the Arab countries changed all that. There are many Mizrahi Jews of outstanding accomplishments and with leftist/liberal leanings. But numbers tell. Many of these Mizrahim bear with them a grudge against the Ashkenazi-unfounded in my opinion. But then I am not Mizrahi. Why unfounded. I look at the countries of Southern Africa, where I grew up and find similarities. I will not expound. Reach your own conclusions.Numbers tell and today the Mizrahim are the majority. But they are only part of the story.Emphasis on PART.These changes enabled the right wing Israelisto grab the reins of power and lead Israel to where it is today.Their Zionism is one of vulgarity and force. The Zionism of the centre/left/liberal Israelis is one of moderation. Obviously I am generalising, but that is how I see it. As the French say "C'est la vie

"The Zionism of the centre/left/liberal Israelis is one of moderation." Nonsense. There is no such moderation. They are just more sophisticated, better at cloaking their extremism and dedication to force in nice-sounding platitudes and cover-narratives. This is true from DBG-Dayan-Golda through Shamir-Sharon through Netanyahu through Bennett-Lapid-Gantz-Lieberman etc.

So only white Europeans/Americans such as yourself are entitled to a nation state? Jews have inhabited their native land for centuries. Two "indigenous" peoples need to solve the current situation i.e Jews and Palestinians.
