How to help my christian orthodox friend?

You can't.

They need to find it on their own.

It's tough but that's the truth. You can't convince anyone of anything.

Work on yourself and let them see that

I don’t know, my grandmother was a devout Christian her entire life but a few years before she died at the age of 93, she remarked that she was sure this place was some sort of prison planet. She became very introspective in her old age. I believe if someone has the time to really examine their beliefs and compare them with what is right in front of their face, they will come to the same conclusions. But it may take some people an entire lifetime. 

Ask him how God can be perfect if he is a jealous God. Perfect beings are not going to be jealous for any reason ever.

You may want to start with his own playing field. It’s not exactly cannon but some of the Orthodox Church fathers wrote about “aerial toll houses” the soul passes through after death where demons act like tax collectors. There’s obvious gnostic and prison planet parallels to this belief.

Religions is a very heavy program. I still have doubts because of the religions. It will not be an easy ride. Also let me tell you something. We do not have all the answers either. So we can truly help others that much.

Many here discard any "higher force/being" but I don't. You just need to frame it correctly and in my opinion, you can avoid it becoming a trap.
If he wants to better understand why he feels that something is wrong with orthodox Christianity, MorgueOfficial is very good channel for this - https://www.youtube.com/@morgueofficial/videos . I don't follow or trust him but he does show obvious lies/distortions very clearly.

As for having a truer/better perspective about "higher source/god etc", in my own words:

About practicing/feeling God.

This is for those who feel a need to feel/practice God, to put God somewhere in their mental perspective. In my opinion, you can do that. It won't deny your sovereignty. But you need to understand and practice the correct perspectives to God. Because orthodox religions teach extremely wrong ones.

Correct perspectives:
practice/imagine a feeling that God has already given you everything, that he's already protecting/helping you 100%. Practice a feeling that you are equal to him (not identical [although the source we come from could be identical] but equal in your own right) as God absolutely doesn't project ANY authority over you. Practice a feeling that if something exists in you (whatever thought, emotion etc), it means God has already approved/allowed that to exist beforehand, so there is literally no part of your consciousness, that God would like you not to be/not to have. You can choose what you want to believe/feel/experience, because whatever choice you can ever make was approved by God already, because it if wasn't, you couldn't even think of such a thing/choice. God has NO expectations from you, you are already accepted to be the way you are by the fact that you and those parts of you exist, because if something isn't approved - it doesn't exist. (P.S. You could say that God allows you to kid yourself however you please, so if you want to be in self-imposed illusions/dreams - your choice. If you want to believe that anyone has authority over you, you can do that, but it'll be just an illusion. It'll create "dissonance" aka suffering for you but such illusion is still allowed).

If you fall into a feeling that "God doesn't help me", "he should somehow help me more, why I can't feel him", "I need to change because God doesn't approve this part of me" etc., - all such emotions will be coming from your own wrong beliefs/perspectives. Guilt, shame etc all are distorted/add-on emotions based on wrong perspectives, on lies.

"Archonic God" will have different/opposite ideas - it will have ideas that you are not equal to it, that you are weaker, that you must depend on it, that you must "grow/better yourself", it'll say "look how sinful you were, you need to work on that, be better, be different etc.". All these perspectives belong to your illusory self, that "Archonic God" tries to make you believe into, identify with.
P.S. I am not sayin that we shouldn't strive to be our best Self, but it's possible to see, how "Archonic" ideas of such a goal will not align to our natural being/nature, which is perfect/positive by default. Just start trusting your own nature and you'll start to feel how extremely positive it is by default.

Religious people r younger souls and are incapable of understanding or accepting PPT. Orthodox r the youngest (baby) souls.
