WIND AND SEA is once again collaborating with the NBA for its 2025 collection. This collaboration aims to capture the enduring passion and rich history of the NBA across different eras, seamlessly blending the culture of each period into a singular creative expression.
The design concept for this collection draws inspiration from the “Conference Finals” rather than the “Finals.” This deliberate choice reflects the belief that true meaning resides in the drama and journey of the moment, rather than in the outcome of victory or defeat. The collection features iconic NBA Conference Final matchups, including the 1993 Chicago Bulls vs. New York Knicks, the 2000 Los Angeles Lakers vs. Portland Trail Blazers, and the 2012 Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics.
Every piece in the collection showcases a diverse fusion of materials and techniques, including denim, jacquard knits, flock and crack prints, and intricate embroidery. By combining these varied elements, the collaboration transcends traditional boundaries between culture and teams, creating a new form of artistic expression.
