It's nice, she respected his interest and decoration but did something perfectly removable and harmless to the figure , as well as giving the figure a dress instead of just covering it
What a rational and reasonable thing to do, honestly. I could so easily see so many moms taking it to the extreme. Rather than throwing it away, defacing it, freaking out, or the other extreme, just having no boundaries and doing something completely uncalled for or perverted (as my mother likely would have).
Instead, she just gave her a little cocktail dress. ️
She fashioned a beautiful tissue paper DRESS is what you mean she was much more thoughtful than just “wrapping it in tissue paper” give the woman some credit!
I saw this post on Twitter and I saw a retweet that said that the mother respected the dignity of this fictional character more than the guy who owned the doll, and now I can't stop thinking about that
At least she didn’t throw it out or berate him for having a figure of this nature. She simply respected his interests but modified the figure to something more within her comfort zone. This definitely seems like a good compromise tbh, alongside the dress just looking really cute all around
