私が電撃文庫などから本を出していた頃。編集さんに「巻末に参考文献とか載せますか？」と聞いたところ「載せないほうが良いと思います」と返ってきた。理由は「偉そうに、と、反感を持たれる可能性がある」ということでした。作家と読者の距離が近いライトノベルでは、そういうリスクもある。
