Dubai’s Al Quoz is no stranger to reinvention, but its latest development is set to give the district a fresh jolt of energy. North 51 Consulting has been appointed as Project and Cost Management Lead for CMPLX Al Quoz, a bold new lifestyle destination that combines wellness, dining, and culture under one industrially inspired roof.
The 15,376 sq ft project is a conversion of warehouses and an experiment in how design can transform raw, utilitarian spaces into places where people gather and create.
At its heart, CMPLX revolves around three distinct experiences:
- Yoga & Pilates Studio (5,083 sq ft): A dedicated hub for wellness, offering state-of-the-art facilities in an environment designed to restore balance and clarity.
- Multidisciplinary Events Space (2,788 sq ft): A flexible venue that will host artistic collaborations, performances, and cultural happenings, cementing Al Quoz’s reputation as Dubai’s creative nerve centre.
- Roastery & Restaurant (7,503 sq ft): A one-of-a-kind F&B concept where beans are roasted, brewed, and savoured on-site. Think immersive coffee aromas meeting all-day dining in an industrial yet elevated setting.
The design retains Al Quoz’s gritty DNA with double-height ceilings, mezzanine slabs, and exposed materials while layering in a new narrative of connection and inclusivity. At its core sits a landscaped courtyard, envisioned as the social anchor where ideas, conversations and communities intersect.
For North 51 Consulting, the project signals a diverse line in its portfolio. “CMPLX is more than just a project, it is a statement about Dubai’s growing appetite for lifestyle-driven spaces. Currently in its design stage, CMPLX will be carried through to interior fit-out and final delivery under North 51’s guidance, ensuring precision at every step. The result promises to be a new benchmark for Dubai, a development that does not just serve a function but curates an experience.
