Oct 8: eight 🇨🇳 nationals were arrested for attempting to enter South Korea illegally by boat off the country's west coast. The suspects, including a man in his 40s, allegedly departed from 🇨🇳 Shandong Province on a 7-meter-long, 3-meter-wide boat on Oct 5 and tried to enter South Korean waters illegally before being intercepted by the Coast Guard on Oct 6 near the county of Taean, South Chungcheong Province. The Coast Guard sought arrest warrants on charges of violating the Immigration Control Act, which were subsequently issued by the Seosan branch of Daejeon District Court today. m-en.yna.co.kr/view/AEN202510
