It is power seeking. Have worked with many jews, they always are looking for a way to dominate, and to find a shortcut, they do not follow the philosophy that power and wealth must be earned through honest work - usually they show up with fancy degrees and forcibly insert themselves on top of others in the workplace.

Of course they are seeking influence - what's interesting is how they all decide to start attacking a particular vector of power at the same time. A large number of big city Mayorships were taken over by Jews in the last ten years. As there are not very many jews in any of these cities, this is notable and suggests organization.
