Abstract:

The reliability data analysis is an important means to analyze equipment lifetime and failure, predict failure rules, study failure mechanisms and formulate maintenance strategies. This paper proposes a method of reliability data analysis for the aviation equipment based on Weibull probability distribution. The fault data of a certain type of equipment component collected in the quality control of aviation equipment is sorted out, and the Weibull distribution model fault data is used for statistical analysis. The mathematical model of Weibull distribution and the process of reliability data analysis are given, and its feasibility and practicability are verified by specific application examples. The specific method is used to determine the distribution type and test the goodness of fit by combining histogram and empirical distribution function. The maximum likelihood estimation method and hypothesis test are used to test the fault distribution and analyze the reliability lifetime characteristics.

I. Introduction

At present, complicated equipment leads to more and more high requirement of equipment, the environment of equipment use becomes more and more severe, and the cost of maintenance support is increasing, these factors make people seriously explore and study the problem of reliability. Reliability refers to the ability of machine part, equipment or system to perform a specified function within a predetermined time and under specified conditions. Reliability is an important guarantee for weapon equipment to form support capability and play operational effectiveness. It is also an important way to reduce equipment maintenance support resources and reduce the use and support costs. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the reliability data of aviation equipment components and get the fault characteristics, so as to determine the method and principle of its maintenance. The purpose of this paper is to provide a reliability data analysis and life prediction method based on Weibull distribution, so as to provide a basis for aviation maintenance support to develop maintenance strategies and factories to improve product reliability.
