ANSETT AUSTRALIA, the nation’s second largest airline, had gone into voluntary administration. Two days later, Ansett’s entire fleet was grounded, in a dramatic collapse that shocked the Australian public. 

Despite attempts to revive it, the 65-year-old brand would never recover.
