This happened with German soldiers fighting at night. The soldiers were using night vision while firing at the enemy, and all of a sudden they saw tall beings coming out of the cave like structures that were covered by trees. The soldiers kept firing but the tall beings kept charging/running towards them. The soldiers started yelling; "They are not human, they are not human!" Many soldiers lost their lives during and after and the others were never the same again.

remember when mad cow disease was a huge scare? At least in the US I remember people were afraid of eating hamburgers. I looked up the date and looks like they noticed mad cow disease in the uk and the US in 2003. You can contract mad cow disease by eating infected cow brain. I know Google can be wrong, but it says that in Iraq the cow head is considered a delicacy and it’s in a stew called pacha and can sometimes include the brain. When you started talking I immediately thought of prion diseases since we’ve always said that those are the diseases that would cause zombies! I was definitely a fan of the walking dead. This is all Just a theory but if the early 2000s timing matches with what you saw being eaten…

I went to film school after I left the military in the early 2000s. One of the Scripps/screenplays that I had been working on at the time was a movie about a drug that was created and given to soldiers that made them superhuman. So, essentially what you’re describing.🤔

This is like hearing my husband talk about the people in Japan being catlike. He said he would be on guard and would spot one and then when he looked they’d disappear. He said they’d appear from out of nowhere and disappear the same. I read a blog years ago that this couple put out about the Marines being the most deadly and dangerous force in the military; they said they brainwash recruits and reprogram them and I believe it because my husband is different. They only work with the Navy on occasion and other than that, they’re a solitary force. He won’t ever go into detail about his experience in the Marines—only talks about doing things he’s wasn’t proud of. He also, on occasion, talks about how he can make someone disappear. Sometimes I feel I still don’t know him after 36 years. I’m not afraid of him but he makes me wonder sometimes.

Listened to a podcast. A Marine in Iraq went between two buildings. He looked to his right and saw an Iraqi walking up the side of the building like he was walking on the ground. 90 degrees straight up the building. The guy saw the Marine & kept eyeballing him for the rest of the time he was there. Said he’ll never forget that guy doing that. He was a real person. But he thought he might be a djinn or possessed by one.
