How I Made $327 in Less Than an Hour as a Student?
And Why You Should Just Start?
I’m a student. Between classes, I try to pick up new skills. Sometimes I write here on Medium. I also have a YouTube channel where I post shorts.
But if I’m being real… I’m not consistent. I watch web series. I hang out with friends. I say I’ll post more often, but my Medium account tells the truth — my last post was over a month ago.
But on July 26, something interesting happened.
One Hour of Work
That day, I made a short video for YouTube. It took less than an hour to create. I uploaded it and went about my usual day — college, assignments, nothing unusual.
The next morning, I opened YouTube Studio and froze.
I thought, “Wait… what?”
In just 8 hours, the short had 600,000 views. Two days later, it peaked at over 2 million.
Then I checked my earnings. One short video… $327.
The Excuses I Used to Tell Myself
Before this, I used to think:
I don’t have enough time.
I don’t have the right tools and skills.
