About 1,100 fans of the online fantasy video game EverQuest took over the BWI Marriott last Saturday to meet face to face for once and to hang out with some of the game's developers.

EverQuest fans -- 350,000 registered users so far -- commonly spend 20, 40 or more hours a week playing the two-year-old game, at a cost of $10 a month each. The game itself plays a bit like Dungeons & Dragons, but without the 20-sided dice.
