I've been following the developments in Japan regarding globohomo for the past 3 years at this point. I brought up in a different thread a while back how Japans homogeneity is basically their best chance at repelling this, along with the fact the language barrier is so difficult to get over that it tends to repel and alienate foreigners. However, afaik the strict criteria that has to be met to be allowed into Japan is getting more and more watered down. That is for generic legal migration however, not the government backed importation of savages. The issue is that once your country has allowed niggers, jeets and muslims in, they are nigh impossible to get rid of, as long as they get benefits/hand outs and low paying jobs they will stick around and if you try to completely stop their benefits and revoke their right to stay then every faggot NGO and org in the world will come down on you like a ton of bricks.

You say it took decades in the West to get this bad, which is partly true. But look at the damage done to continental Europe since the migrant crisis a decade ago, or the damage done to the UK since Boris opened the legal immigration floodgates during covid. It can be speedrun if the powers that be wish it. As we have seen, it's absolutely possible to flood a nation with hundeds of thousands if not millions of savages in the space of a single year, and then it's too late even if the natives start rebelling against the savages inevitable crimes. You can't just removes hundreds of thousands/millions of people without a million hurdles being put in front of you. I don't like doomposting, it makes me sad.. but if Japan allows this, i think the Japan as we know it will be done for. I think you're partially right, in so far as the demographics are overall still *okay* in most of Europe, but the governments are cooked over there and have gone full globohomo. I think people are starting to wake up over there, but if nothing changes the nations over there will become America in the early 2000s, and then eventually America now, and finally Brazil (which is where the US is currently heading). At that point, it will be unsalvageable. The main problem right now is that European governments are all in on the Great Replacement and are doing nothing to stem the tide. That could change if the momentum keeps building, but it's bad situation either way.

I have more hope for Japan than most of Europe. For America, well, I've kind of settled with the fact I'll just have to hide away in my white enclave forever. America is irreparably fucked demographically.

Edit: Countries like France and the UK are already less white than the US was during the early 2000s. That should be frightening.

Because Japanese people are bad at English, it's generally impressive to other Japanese people when someone is good at it. Also, inevitably it feels like negotiations without needing a translator would be more beneficial, especially when dealing with Trump who they know is a big leader who can offer a lot of benefits to them. Doesn't hurt that Abe was on very good terms with Trump and he was generally well-liked.

It's more an opportunity for them to show off/win a few extra points than anything else.

Because being able to speak English is tied to significant status in Japan and a lot of people ambling for a prestigious position will say they can speak English when they can't (and Japs, also being monolingual, don't have the knowledge to call them on it).

The *credentials* of speaking English are more tied to status than actual fluency. So say you're some upper-middle class Japanese nepo-baby or test-grinder who ended up doing some study abroad Master's at Harvard where they basically hand-hold you through classes and your thesis defense and you pay someone to clean up the English on your written defense, but your practical speaking and listening fluency is basic because you only hang out with other Japanese ex-pats in a bubble during your time abroad. You get to claim credit for being an Internationalist once you get back home, despite the fact you can't even follow the plot of an American sitcom.

Meanwhile, some working class or lower middle class kid who either grew up near the American bases, or spent 4-5 years as a pre-teen or teenager living and socializing in America or Canada when your Dad was doing a stint at one of the factories there, or you're just a Westernboo who decided to level up your English on your own gets zero credit for fluency, and often doesn't even get to use it for work. Like I've mentioned on here before, the most fluent Japanese English speaker I've ever met was a Strayaboo who spoke perfectly accented rural Australian English, and he worked as a motorcycle factory worker. I've heard a story about some Japanese Executive who was in charge of foreign operations with sterling credentials who could barely speak English relying on a low level office lady personal assistant who did all his translation work behind the scenes.

If Japan was truly independent it would have built great relations with Russia, the energy superpower next door, but instead they joined the sanctions. First round results: Koizumi handily wins the diet vote in the first round. This is not surprising because there are tons of politicians who would rather vote for a lib than a woman. Takaichi is not actually very popular in her own party and is perceived as being somewhat low on the pecking order. In the LDP, being a prime minister is a unenviable position.

Runoff results: The other conservative candidates split between the two remaining candidates but the rank and file members of the LDP (the prefectural chapters) overwhelmingly vote for Takaichi. Local level party organizers are on hopium right now. If the other conservative parties come back into the fold and a coalition is reached with DPFP and isshin, the LDP can mantain power even if komeito withers away.
