Hello Cool Cat Fans,
In 2012 we released the "Cool Cat Stops Bullying" short film, and since then the COOL CAT Films have brought good and positive messages to kids worldwide. Cool Cat is known for his Anti-Bullying and Gun Safety messages, and this project will be Cool Cat's 3rd Feature Length Movie.
The world has become very crazy and confusing for children, and adults too. As per statistics,
'SCHOOL SHOOTINGS' or 'MASS SHOOTINGS' are the Biggest Fears that children between 7 to 17 experience. Reports state that some children are basically traumatized to attend school.
Unfortunately, School Shootings are escalating,
AND THEY KEEP HAPPENING.

“COOL CAT STOPS A SCHOOL SHOOTING” is the story of Good vs Bad.
Cool Cat is the coolest cat, but his archenemy Dirty Dog loves to bully Cool Cat and his friends,
but his attempts always fail. So Dirty Dog's frustration grows to where he attacks the school
with guns, and Cool Cat shows kids different safety tips and how to stay safe and protect
themselves in that situation. Then Cool Cat faces Dirty Dog for the ultimate battle!

In our last movie, "Cool Cat vs Dirty Dog", Dirty Dog gets so mad after Cool Cat derails another one of his tricks, he threatens to Shoot-Up Cool Cat's School!!!
---BUDGET-AMOUNT NEEDED---
The Budget is $50,000, and this includes all production, except the two lead actors. The only additional expense could be if we cast Celebrities for the 'School Principal' and 'Celebrity Teacher' lead roles.
---BUT HOW - MOVIES COST MILLIONS---
Great question, some Studio films cost millions, and even some Indie movies cost a million.
Really, there are two answers.
1- I know times are tough, but this movie really needs to happen for the kids, so I chopped the script and slimmed some scenes. In straight talk, it went from a 14 day to 11 day shoot, and cast and crew positions were tightened.
2- I do most of the "Above the Line" positions. I created COOL CAT and I write, produce, direct, edit, and act in the movies, which eliminates most budget expenses. I own my own equipment, removing rental expenses. I'm also pretty good at shooting on a budget with a smaller crew, plus my heart is into it. This is how I can produce this Feature Film for $50,000. But this is a very slimmed budget, so the better we do, the more we can add to the movie.

---STATUS OF MOVIE---
The Screenplay is absolutely Gripping! And we are Now building the Dirty Dog Den to begin filming those scenes. Many of these also star Beaver, Dirty Dog's prisoner!
The tension between Dirty Dog and Cool Cat is epic. Basically all of the pre-production is completed. The script is broken down into 'Shooting Days', and the Locations are scouted. Just need finances and we're ready to cast and start filming.

But this Movie Can Possibly Stop some, and I will Guarantee this movie will show children different safety tips to use in case they are trapped in this situation, plus it'll Open the Door for Parents and Educators to Speak to Kids about School Shootings!

Many have said the Title and Subject matter alone are Controversial, and I hope so! Controversy equals more PR! And this is a Derek Savage film, so you know they'll be some controversy in it.

--SCHOOL SHOOTING STATISTICS 2025--
School Shooting Statistics are shocking! They show a significant increase since 2020, with recent years 2022, 2023, and 2024 setting records for the number of incidents and casualties, with US schools seeing over 400 school shootings and more than 190,000 students exposed to violence since 1999.
As of September 10, 2025, there have already been 46 school shootings in 2025. Twenty-four were on college campuses, and 23 were on K-12 school grounds. The incidents left 19 people dead and at least 77 other victims injured.
