During a meeting with US Consul General in Hong Kong Julie Eadeh on Sep 30, 🇨🇳 Cui Jianchun (崔建春), Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, lodged solemn representations on “her conducts since she assumed duties” and laid out four “must-nots” warning her against interfering in the country’s internal affairs. Eadeh invited pro-democracy figures Anson Chan and Emily Lau to receptions she held after assuming duties in the city.
