2025 represents the 41st year of the pinball show that started all shows, the Chicago Pinball Expo. The event has grown from a small industry gathering to a massive nearly week-long celebration of the hobby that we all love. One of the neat aspects of it that has grown significantly over the past several years is the Homebrew pinball area, where passionate pinball fans are able to show off one-of-a-kind pinball machines that they have created.

This year I am thrilled to be able to reveal one of the most amazing Homebrew games that I have ever seen. You may remember Kyle Smet aka Mudflaps Pinball from his amazing Friday the 13th homebrew pinball machine that he brought to Expo last year. Well, Kyle is at it again. This year he is bringing his newest creation - Big Trouble in Little China Pinball to the show.

Look at the amazing people that were recruited to work on this project!

- Art blades by Randy Martinez
- Playfield art by Brian Allen
- Sound and original music by Scott Danesi
- Hand-painted backglass by Michael Calandra
- Interactive topper by the folks at The Electric Playground and Randy Martinez
- Callouts from original Big Trouble in Little China actor James Pax

The game features a whopping eighteen modes, including six movie missions, four unique multiballs, RGB LED lightning, three ramps, nine drop targets, six standup targets, two kickbacks, two magnets and a pop-up bash toy.

If you're going to Pinball Expo, make sure to stop by and check this masterpiece out.
