The number of visitors on the fourth day of Tokyo Game Show 2025 (TGS2025), held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba from September 25 to 28, 2025, was announced to be 78,555 (compared to 89,773 the previous year). The total number of visitors during TGS2025 was 263,101.

The total number of visitors during the Tokyo Game Show 2025 (TGS2025) event was 263,101 (274,739 last year). This figure includes visitors to the exhibition and press.

Compared to the previous year's Tokyo Game Show 2024, the total number of visitors over the two business days increased, while the total number of visitors over the two public days decreased.

TGS2025, held under the theme of "An endless playground where you can't play," saw 1,136 companies and organizations from 47 countries and regions exhibit, surpassing last year's record. At the Makuhari Messe venue, new titles for a variety of platforms, from home game consoles to smart devices, PCs, and VR, were unveiled. A wide variety of related products, services, solutions, and merchandise were also exhibited, reflecting the expansion of the game industry.

The event stage featured a keynote speech, the Japan Game Awards 2025 Future Division Awards Ceremony, and a special talk session as part of the Top Game Creators Academy, a collaborative project with the Agency for Cultural Affairs and the Japan Arts Council, to serve as a guide for young talent aiming to enter the gaming industry.

In terms of business negotiations, 3,591 negotiations were conducted using the "TGS Business Matching System."

Twenty-one official programs were streamed online. They were distributed on official TGS accounts such as YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and Twitch, as well as on platforms such as Niconico. They were distributed in collaboration with DouYu and bilibili for China, and IGN for the West.

Next year's Tokyo Game Show 2026 is scheduled to be held for five days from Thursday, September 17th to Monday, September 21st, 2026 (national holiday), a first for TGS (the physical venue is planned to be Makuhari Messe).
