This video employs the pioneering methods for educating young children developed in Italy by Dr. Maria Montessori in the early part of the twentieth century. These are deployed via fifty favourite nursery rhymes, including 'The Grand Old Duke of York', 'Ride a Cock Horse', 'Little Miss Muffet', 'Pop! Goes the Weasel', 'Hot Cross Buns', 'Oranges and Lemons', 'The Wheels on the Bus', 'Ring a Ring o' Roses', 'I'm a Little Teapot' and many others.
Singing English :
Singing English is presented by an exciting new singing partnership - John and Sue. It has lots of cartoons, as well as a cast of English children, and a picture dictionary. The karaoke section has the words on the screen to help your child to join in. By joining in, children will absorb the English language and have fun doing it!
Contains two videos: the first is intended for young preschoolers, the second, more advanced, suitable for elementary school children. Singing English is a fun way to teach English to children with the first basic notions.
Through 14 songs to be sung like in a karaoke, children will learn letters, numbers, colors and simple idiomatic phrases while having fun, contact with the English language and culture, the story of four little friends and how they spend their days between games, parties and fun activities.
