On Sunday, May 4th, the Shinoda Fireworks were held at Shinoda Shrine in Ueda-cho, Omihachiman City. The Shinoda Fireworks are also registered in the cultural program of the tournament, and are made by kneading a board with Japanese gunpowder made from a mixture of sulfur, saltpeter, and paulownia ash using a traditional technique that is now rare, and then setting off a trick fireworks display with a picture drawn on it. The trick fireworks are created by deciding on a theme from a topic each year and considering and creating a design, and this year, Caffy's design emerged in the evening darkness.
