海を渡った京都市交通局狭軌1型19号に会いに、オレンジ・エンパイア鉄道博物館へ行ってきました。車内にこそ立ち入られませんでしたが、庫内で大切に保管されていました。

薄暮の併用軌道に姿を現したハウステンボス編成8連。

かれこれ17年、JR九州在来線の最新車両であり続けている883系1000番台。

なはのレガートシート、オハ24-300番台（←サロ481）。高速バスへの対抗策として普通車指定席特急料金で乗車出来る乗り得車両だったが利用喚起の起爆剤にはならず。

100系開発担当者がビジネスホテルに缶詰してた時、室内の家具類から電話機までビスを隠しているのに気付き、金属地剥き出しだった0系から一転、100系ではFRPを多用して徹底して金属光沢を目立たせないようにしたという話がイカロス本に書いてあった。

足回りは103系、車体は201系、顔は105系、用途的には203系、そして最後まで残りそうな103系に。

これが噂の特急やくもの新車？

パノラマカーも実質路面電車ってこと？

ずらりと並んだ転換クロスシートはプライベースとはまた違った豪華で落ち着いた内装。

この路端軌道が名鉄1500V線、さらには新鵜沼や豊橋等を介して全国のJR線と繋がっていたのは今でも信じられない。

今も待ってたら電車が横切りそうな雰囲気。

ク3518自身が隣のカープお膝元の電車以上に赤くなることを、まだこの時は知る由もなかった。

全国２１０万人のＥＦ２１０大好きクラブの皆様こんばんは。明日のダイヤ改正で引退する４１５系鋼製車の個人的な思い出といえば、１４３号機を撮りに行ったら後ろにくっつき、１４３号機の格好良さを引き立てる姿に感銘を受けたことです。浜名湖に浮かぶこのシーンは生涯忘れられません。
