Vanessa Bone, the daughter of Linda Bone of Madison, is engaged to wed Streeter Seidell, the son of Streeter and Sue Seidell, also of Madison. The bride is also the daughter of the late Herman Bone.

The bride and groom were both born and raised in Madison, where they became long-time friends since grade school.

The future bride attended The University of Connecticut for her undergraduate degree, while the future groom attended Fordham University and earned a bachelor's degree in communications.

The future groom is a writer/comedian, now working in Manhattan as the executive editor for College Humor Media.

The future bride extended her education at Le Moyne College and is now working as a surgical physician assistant in Manhattan.

Living together in Brooklyn, the couple is planning a Sept. 16, 2011 wedding at the Inn at Longshore in Westport.
