Why stainless steel is also magnetic?

304 stainless steel belongs to Austenitic stainless steel. Austenite changes in partial or small amounts to martensites during cold processing. Due to the magnetism, 304 stainless steel is non-magnetic or slightly magnetized. In other words, you cannot determine whether or not stainless steel is magnetic.
