この写真報知さんだったのか…故障した馬にカメラを向けたということで賛否両論あるのはわかるけど、正直三冠牝馬の最期を収めた写真として完璧すぎる。馬の特徴と馬名を抑え、写した人が騎手だけで、脚部を写さず、リバチの表情も美しい。なのに騎手の表情から状況が伺える。

ピンボケてることに後悔しかないんだけど、最終直線のディープボンド。 歯を食いしばって、耳を絞って懸命に走る姿を見て、改めてこの馬を追いかけていてよかったと思います。でも、彼の想いが報われてほしかった。

メイメイはいつも楽しそうに帰ってくる。これ最初は闘争心が少ないの？と思っていたけど何度も観に行ってわかった、担当さんのところに戻れるのが嬉しいんだ。 担当さんはメイメイがどんな着順でも笑顔で彼女を迎えてくれる。彼女はきっとその瞬間が楽しみで、嬉しそうに帰ってくるんじゃないだろうか
