The fact that they don’t even understand basic literature interpretation and analysis is so.. character’s sexuality analysis is so common like Nick from The Great Gatsby or Narrator from Fight Club like omg just go back to focus on the combat or something 🤦
when official doesn’t explicitly announce it, you can disagree with these analyses, ofc just don’t be a dick about it, acting like you’re force to take it in while you yourself being uncivilized about it and is the one forcing your idea do you even realize that
Thing is when you do literature analysis, you often need to provide evidence to convince people at least my professor said. Unlike gay Mine truthers, I never seen people who disagree with this provide any justifiable proof or analysis for their arguments, they just say-
“but this can be read the other way more than he’s gay” I think we acknowledge that reading him as gay is another way to interpret it too. or “the ‘love’ can be platonic” nobody said it can’t be. like if that is how you see it, then so be it? are you not confident w it?
The world is so beautiful and diverse, humans brains are amazing, and you expect everyone to think the same as you and wanna shut those who think differently down? that’s an insult to the world’s beauty! and fascism
