Hello, you have been selected to become a mediator for the 'party.
This email will briefly go over what is expected of mediators and explain how to log into your account.
As a mediator, you have the ability to approve media and vote for a post’s deletion as well as access to the hidden /mediator/ board.
Your primary role will be approving new media. This is a fairly easy job, just browse the site as normal and hit approve whenever you see a post with unapproved media.
The only time you should not approve a file is when it falls into any of the following categories:
CSAM/CP
Child abuse
Animal abuse
Zoophilia
Loli/Shota
Discord invites or similar advertisements
In the event that any of these things are posted you should reject the file, which will delete every post with that file attached.
Rejecting files that do not fall into any of these categories may result in the deletion of your account.
The vote button should be treated like a delete button, as your vote could easily be the vote that deletes a post. You should always consider if a post is rule-breaking before voting to delete it.
When you vote to delete a post, you should also report it as a mod or janny might see your report before the post gets enough votes to be deleted.
/mediator/ is a private board that can only be accessed through mod.php. If you need help or have questions, ask there and we will try to help you out.
Mediators must remain completely anonymous. Revealing your position outside of /mediator/, whether on-site or off-site, will result in the deletion of your account.
Once you are familiar with the above, visit
https://soyjak.st/mod.php?/ and log in with the following credentials:
Username: text
Password: text
From there, you’ll be greeted by the moderation dashboard. Near the bottom of the page there’s a button to change your password, use it to change your account’s default password to something more secure.
Once your password is changed you should be good to go, see you on /mediator/.
