Mine at y=-32. Gold is the main currency of the server, do /t deposit in a bank chunk to contribute the gold to your town.
Grind for war gear by going to /t spawn constantinople, killing the blazes for xp and enchanting diamond armor with prot 4 unbreaking 3 and swords with sharp 5 unbreaking 3 and fire 2. Mending is not needed for war gear.
Farm melon, wheat, carrots pumpkin and potatoes at soyth africa and trade the crops with the villagers under decord__'s house for emeralds. Use emeralds to trade for mending and other enchanted books.
If you're good at building, help make soyth africa city look better or build at cape_soy.

useful commands
/t spawn (town) teleports you to the spawnpoint of a town. /n spawn (nation) does the same but with nations.
/t deposit or /n deposit (amount) deposits your gold in the town or nation's bank.
/t withdraw or /n withdraw allows you to take money out of the nation or town bank, only if you have permissions though
/n chat sets you to nation chat, /t sets you to global chat, /g sets you to global chat
rules
jannies on this server are somewhat lenient, but don't xray or get overly chuddy in the chat, and don't obviously hack or do raisinty exploits.

I discovered something
The server has a different recipe for stone bricks, where each one costs only one brick, meaning for every clay ball we get one block of bricks if we smelt it. Clay can be instamined with an enchanted shovel and it’s block gives 4 balls, so we can get huge quantities of brick blocks relatively easily and use them to build, it’s probably more efficient than plain stone since clay spawns in very large chunks on the stone layer that are common and can give 10+ stacks of balls each
