「殺人は暗数にするのが難しい」って話、男性によるDVや虐待は通報されやすいので明るみに出るけど、女性による暴行は通報されないので暗数となる一方、殺人については女性によるものでも暗数にできないので「女性は配偶者の殺人率だけ妙に高い」って男女界隈で話題になってた話と通ずるところがある。

ある特定の国の治安を測りたいときは、殺人事件の発生率を見てください。 殺人は暗数にするのが難しいし、性犯罪や強盗などあらゆる犯罪との相関性があります。 殺人は多くて他の犯罪は少ない国とか基本的にありません。 これ以上治安を測るのに適切な数字はないです。
