KATOさんのEF81につらら切り生やしてたら133号機が完成しました(⁠「・⁠ω・⁠)「スノープロウも大翼形にしてみたり長岡所特有の列車無線の保護板、酒田区特有の側面上部の安全柵取り付け用と思われる金具なども追加してみました

尾久の24系予備車では両数に限界があり、高崎支社から12系を借りて9両となった転換訓練。重量も増して客車側のCPを起動することで制動時の感覚など操作は試験本番となる北斗星により近づいた条件での運転となった時のものです

全般検査から出場して間もない134号機に引かれ、除籍となる91号機と全検となる1115号機の輸送時のものから。 91号機は全検から台検Aが迫る16カ月目で離脱となったり、旅客運用がEF510へと切り替わったことで再びコストのかかってない機関車達が離脱してく時期だったように思います。

10号車前面のシートはハセガワさんの曲面追従シートを貼り付けマスキングテープで締め付けました

BP、MRは前面の設計に余裕がありましたので上から吊るように取り付けました(・∀・)

E26系の倍となる1000tクラスの貨物列車(高速貨物B)を普通、特急列車の合間を縫って牽引するハチイチ

特急待避のため荒川沖、北柏を数分停車するくらいで直線も多く平均勾配9‰の区間を朝から軽やかに駆け抜けてく列車でした。田端所:A27 / 96レ(◯水戸→△田端操)

1933年から試験が始まり翌年には本格的に運転となる推進回送。電車が脚光を浴び、機回しが必要な客車列車の折返しの効率化が求められ運転課の馬場楢吉さんが現地視察時に「到着した列車をそのまま尾久へ引き返えせないだろうか？」前例がない時代には盲点だったようでそんな一言から始まったそうな

レール7にて夢空間89の様子がちょろっと映されてました

北斗星夢空間の由来ともなったこのイベント。思い返せばここでの展示が目的で製造された車両でしたので、本線で走った約20年間がこの車両の夢の舞台だったのだと思います

現在は本来の姿に戻ったと言っても良いのでしょうね( *ｰωｰ)

東日本にて510-500自走運用でのラストとなったA182

運用離脱となった翌日からは列車選別装置の撤去など転配へ向けた作業が行われていました。

隅田川機関区のベテランさんのハンドルにて田端所の東部構内から出区するEHと、後ろには推進実績のない同形式を上野まで案内するための139号機のカシオペア重連出区。ハチイチ双頭機とEHの重連自体はじめて見た光景でした。

次々と北部庫内にて仕業検査が施工され、後ろの98号機もABBが投入され北部裏にて入換待ち。 95号機の検査が終わり98号機にて庫外へと入換、今度は同機の検査が施工されたり賑やかな光景でした

旅客、貨物ともに多く受け持っていた時には内燃/電機ともに1日に20両近く施工していたそうで。

新潟地区の保安装置変更線区が発生したり色々とタイミングが重なり去る者。双頭両用連結器化改造車両としては初の除籍。

1列車、静から動へ。ノッチが投入されキックオフ、後方確認。上野を出発する瞬間の一つ一つの景色が好きです。 81号機は全検明けの本線故障から87号機などでもみられた歯車問題で北斗星運用が禁止となり、ハチイチ達にとって最後の定期運用となる夏に解除され秋頃まで怒涛の運用固定だった覚えです

この日は北部仕業庫内と北部裏留置の電機2両を機回線を通し一旦停止まで入換え、6番へ(⁠・⁠ω・⁠) 神立行路となる98号機はすぐに出区点検が始まり、95号機は内燃車の入換作業を行っていました。

ATS-P区間でのATCの誤動作が頻発しATC取っ払ったりEBの回路が変更されたそうな...^^; 問題だった変圧器もメーカーで直され今後の同形式の改善のために再スタートのようですね( ・ω・)
