Hey my dudes,
I am back! Some of you may have noticed the radio silence here for the past few weeks and I am so sorry for that. I was going to share the recipe for the chocolate walnut cookies I made a few weeks ago but they just weren't quite perfect. The next week I was going to share a recipe for Swedish Sand Cake and while the recipe is really delicious the pictures were super ugly so I decided I needed to re-bake the cake which of course didn't happen. And then last week I was thinking of making a cake to celebrate 100,000 followers on instagram but yet again I just ran out of time. I know, I know, excuses excuses! But let’s just put the past behind us and be glad I am finally back on top of my schedule and here to share with you another Bageriet Lördag recipe!
For those who are new here Bageriet Lördag is my one-day-a-week pop-up bakery that I run from my apartment. You can find info about here:
This past Saturday I made äpplebullar, Swedish style apple buns! I first made these last year on youtube and while I liked them I thought the shaping could use a bit of improvement. I took the opportunity to improve the recipe this past Saturday and I think they are now both very apple-y AND very cute!
The recipe is below for paid subscribers but you can find last year’s version for free here.
Oh! Also! I have exciting news! I quit my 9-5 job!!! I am now officially a full time content creator/baker again!! Bageriet Lördag has been going really well lately and it got to the point where I felt the office job was just holding me back. So I took the leap, quit my job and here we are! With full focus on baked goods, recipes and content content content! I spoke about it a bit more in depth in this youtube video (it’s towards the end but I think you should watch the whole video obvi).
I am so excited for the future and can’t wait to share even more recipes with you all!
Xoxo,
Cecilia
