Born in Tokyo in 1967. He became an apprentice to San'yutei Enraku VI and began his career as a rakugo performer under the name San'yutei Rakudai. In 1988, he appeared on radio under the name Ijuin Hikaru.
He is a talented talker and well-educated, and is a personality on radio programs such as TBS Radio's "Midnight Baka-ryoku" and Nippon Broadcasting System's "Ijuin Hikaru no Tane." He has also appeared on NHK's "100 Minutes of Masterpieces," and is active in a wide range of fields.
Born January 20th in Tokyo. Active as a voice actor and narrator in many TV shows and anime.
His major works include the anime series "Crayon Shin-chan" and "Eureka Seven," TV Asahi's "Super J Channel," and many others.

In 1995, he made his directorial debut with the feature film "Love Letter." His representative works include "Swallowtail," "All About Lily Chou-Chou," "The Case of Hana and Alice," "Last Letter," and "Kirie's Song." In 2012, he wrote the lyrics for the song "Hana wa Saku," which was created to support the recovery efforts following the Great East Japan Earthquake. In April 2025, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the film's release, "Love Letter [4K Remaster]" will be released in theaters. He continues to work across borders in a variety of genres, both domestically and internationally.

Takahata Isao (1935-2018) is an animation film director who built a career in Japanese animation production for half a century from the 1960s and led the world of animation. Born in Mie Prefecture and raised in Okayama Prefecture, Takahata joined Toei Animation (now Toei Animation) in 1959 after graduating from the Department of French Literature at the University of Tokyo. At Toei, Takahata expressed a grand worldview in "The Great Adventure of Horus, Prince of the Sun" (1968), and in the 1970s he released a number of animations such as "Panda Gopanda" (1972), "Heidi, Girl of the Alps" (1974), and "Anne of Green Gables" (1979), challenging himself to create new expressions in animation. Since the 1980s, including when he helped found Studio Ghibli in 1985, he has pursued the expression of the reality of Japanese culture and the lives of ordinary people through works such as "Jarinko Chie" (1981), "Yanagawa Canal Story" (1987), "Grave of the Fireflies" (1988), and "Pom Poko" (1994). In the 1990s, he released "My Neighbors the Yamadas" (1999). He evolved the then-unprecedented technique of expressing hand-drawn sketches with computer-generated coloring instead of cel animation, and in the 2000s he created "The Tale of the Princess Kaguya" (2013), an advanced version of that technique.
The year 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the Pacific War, and new materials focusing on Grave of the Fireflies will be exhibited. In addition, during the preparations for the exhibition, a harmony cel of the heavy cruiser Maya, a cut from Grave of the Fireflies created by Hideaki Anno, head of Studio Khara, was accidentally discovered, and will be shown for the first time at this exhibition. Please take note of this point as well.
Layout: Hideaki Anno Harmony Cel * : Noriko Higuchi
* A cel drawn with a painting-like touch. Normally, cels are painted in a single color, but harmony is a technique that allows for a more realistic expression.
