How did i mange to get three Fairy.... am i like a Ultimate Fairy?
But other wise are my results
Monotype: 1;Fairy (67.39%) 2; Grass (31,34%) 3; Steel (26,2%)
Primary: 1;Fairy (59,18%) 2; Phychic (30.23%) 3; Normal (20,34%)
Secondary: 1;Fairy (44,81%) 2;Steel (30,28%) 3; Normal (28,88%)
The Ultimate Fairy!!! I must admit, those are some pretty straightforward numbers.
Thank you for taking the test, and for sharing, and I hope you're happy with your results!
I am!
Thank you for making an awesome quiz!
Aw thanks :)
Don't know how I feel about the strong normal percentages but alas I enjoyed the quiz! The UX is nice and really gets you into the vibe.
Monotype - Normal (46.95%) / Fire (39.54%) / Fairy (36.5%)
Primary - Normal (63.77%) / Ice (58.79%) / Psychic (32.1%)
Secondary - Fairy (55.71%) / Grass (37.34%) / Psychic (31.11%)
Pokedex Entry: Social, Expressive, & Good Vibes (what am I an Eevee? That said it does bring me joy that even hesitant trainers and researchers feel at ease around me. I genuinely want others around me to be happy)
As an aside I resonate heavily with the Psychic typings. I feel like I'm IN people's lives rather then them in mine. I may be an extrovert but my true intimacy is something I don't think anyone's ever reached, because there's so many layers and shifting personas dialled to different degrees around people. And maybe a liiiittle bit of trust issues. I wouldn't say they're masks per se or occluding my "true self", but exist as different facets of who I am. Not to be too self-oriented but I really do feel like there's an innate power within me that could change the world, unfortunately (and ironically with psychic) I'm chronically out of spoons... As the saying goes god has to nerf you because or you'd be too powerful. Still! I try my best. :]
(Thank you for slogging through that terribly long wall of text)
I eat terribly long walls of text for breakfast, and this was a good one! (also I legit chuckled at your spoon pun)
I am genuinely so grateful that you've shared so much, and I appreciate you checking the descriptions to see what actually resonates with you the most, regardless of what numbers the test gives you. (to anyone else reading this, in case I haven't added it into the results yet: the type you identify with is always more correct than my little percentages!)
I hope this isn't overstepping, but your description of shifting personas is interesting to me... expressing multiple facets of yourself with different people is totally fine and cool and, dare I say... "Normal" (sorry - I think it's a cool type!)... but regarding your chronic lack of spoons... I have to wonder if shifting facets/presentation (along with that little bit of trust issues) might be subtly/consistently exhausting for you? Especially if you like being around people, and you prioritize the happiness of those around you? Full disclosure, I'm rarely extraverted myself, but that sounds like it might empty a spoon drawer!
Sorry for the tangent, that has nothing to with your test results! I'm just never going to miss an opportunity to remind chronic people-pleasers (I know so many of them) that it's okay to look out for themselves. (I also don't any more about you than what you wrote here, so I may be way off base - feel free to disregard this!)
Anywho, back to being a normal/real Pokemon professor, thank you for taking the test, I'm so glad you liked it :)
This was super fun! I really enjoyed reading the descriptions in detail. Please make more quizzes down the line! I'd love to play more of them!
Monotype - Ground (36.28%) / Ghost (28.94%) / Ice (23.61%)
Primary - Ghost (38.5%) / Dragon (25.27%) / Poison (24.18%)
Secondary - Psychic (25.31%) / Ground (23.27%) / Dragon (18.25%)
Pokedex Entries: Isolates, Fast, Toxic
This comment absolutely gives me life. It never even occurred to me that anyone would get to the end of this test and want more, and I seriously appreciate the support. (I do actually have plans to make more quizzes, once I'm finally ready to let this one go!)
So thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it, and also thank you for sharing your results. :)
Here's my results! I was going to ask about an alternative answer for something, but after going through the comments a little, I don't think I'd actually need a different answer.
Mono: Fairy (59.22%), Grass (50.2%), Normal (33.12%)
Primary: Grass (63.64%), Fairy (53.83%), Water (33.14%)
Secondary: Grass (61.79%), Water (48.15%), Normal (29.9%)
Pokedex Entries: Helpful, Ancient, Mysterious
Thank you so much for sharing your results!
If you feel like sharing further, I am curious about the alternative answer you were looking for - even if I'm already going to add it, more data is always better, and a new perspective would surely help flesh out the new answer.
(also I know it's been a minute since you've posted this, I'm not always the fastest with comments, so no worries if you don't remember, or if you don't feel like it, no pressure forever!)
It took going through the quiz again to remember, but it was about Question 13! I tend to have a lot of art supplies, and primarily work with pencil and paper. I'm unlikely to end up in those circumstances in the first place. However, I used the advice given in the comments about Question 44 to answer this. Question 13 seems to be about what you'd do if you're low on resources while actively working on something, so I answered using that as reference! However, if you'd like to do the usual "I always keep a lot of materials around, so this wouldn't happen" answer, that's always an option!
I'm so glad I asked (and that you bothered to go through the quiz again, thank you so much!) - I can see the similarities with the Question 44 situation, but something about this seems different, since I'm not sure if everyone keeps a lot of art materials around. Having an "I always keep a lot of art materials around, so this wouldn't happen" option still adds some insight, re: resourcefulness and preparedness - I'll mull it over, but I think that could work!
Funnily enough, much like Question 44, I think that Question 13 might actually need a bit of a reframing altogether. (I've actually thought that for a while for an unrelated reason, since whenever I get to that question, I personally want there to be a "I don't do birthday cards" option, which would almost definitely be an unhelpful skip.)
Long story short, that is a 100% valuable suggestion, and I think it's gonna help me properly rework that question. Thank you again :)
This was really fun to do, along with my kinda funny results. Feels like it is trying to tell me something (I'm fae i guess).
Mono: Fairy (47.3%) | Bug (30.93%) | Water (25.41%)
Primary: Fairy (57%) | Bug (30.05%) | Grass (19.77%)
Secondary: Fairy (59.78%) | Grass (42.98%) | Ice (21.38%)
Honestly happy I at least got grass as multiple times as well.
Given your name and your current avatar (I think that's a Leafeon, yes?) I'm also glad you got a couple Grass results!
I'm so glad you had a fun time taking it, and thank you for sharing your results. :)
Mono: Ground-ice-water
Prime: Ground-ice-water
Secondary: Ground-ice-bug
Dex: Discerning-mysterious-food focused
Yeah, that checks out. always love doing ground-mono runs if I am forced to.
Ground's a good way to be! It's so grounded!
Thank you for taking the test, and also for sharing your results. :)
I enjoy taking this quiz overall, it feels thought out! Interestingly enough, I got some of the types I vibe with (Fairy, Water, Flying). Steel & Ice were much of a surprise to me, but after reading through the results, I can see to a degree (only in the 'environmental vibe' sense)
MONOTYPE: Ground (35.04%) - Fairy (34.16%) - Steel (22.22%)
DUALTYPE:
Primary: Fairy (37.7%) - Flying (32.78%) - Ice (25.14%)
Secondary: Water (31.89%) - Steel (29.05%) - Ground (27.44%)
Pokedex Entry: Fast - Blends in - Discerning (Environment)
Questions/Clarifications/Feedback:
- I feel like a lot of the questions only "partially" represent me, I only picked whichever's the closest but some of them don't feel "right". I'll mention some of the significant ones.
I hope they help!
1. For Question 9, I'm the type who "cares enough to notice their absence, but not get too caught up as to why". A lot of the answers sound a tad much "self-consciousness/grudge-y(?)" personally.
2. For Question 15, I'm more likely to "evade/change the topic, can we can move on???" rather than " telling them that they've crossed the line"
3. For Question 19:
4. For Question 49, although I would initially block the sound (only if it's triggering), I'll still be open to approach them but only if they initiate it.
Thank you so much for sharing your results, and I'm so glad that you got some types that you vibe with!
Thank you also for the answer suggestions, here are my thoughts on them:
Q9: I totally see what you mean. I think I had too much of a personal sense of who I'd want to avoid when writing that one, and missed out on creating a more neutral option - I'll add one in a future update!
Q15: That's a solid response, I can add that too!
Q19: "Motivated, but planning to do a slightly worse job" is meant to represent feeling motivated, but cutting yourself some slack as far as the results go, since you recognize that you're suddenly under a time crunch. It's a very specific feeling, and I could probably rephrase that so that it's a little more clear.
And I'd have to double-check to make sure it plays nice with everything else, but I think there could also easily be a "Frustrated, screw this, calling it quits!" option.
Q49: This answer feels very middle-of-the-road, which is great, and weirdly not represented currently! I'll fiddle with it, but I think this is actually such a good angle that it could be split into two answers all on its own.
These suggestions are all killer no filler, thank you so much! I'm working on a big overall change to this test, so those answers might not be in the next update, but they'll get in there soon :)
Well. Ghost monotype and Ghost prim. with posion secondary! Lol
Honestly I came here with no expectations whatsoever but still got very surprised at the results
It's a bit ironic that the results I got are mostly more or less counterparts of my favorite types, kinda (My top 5 are Ghost, Ice, Dark, Water and Fire)
Monotype: Fairy (54.73%) - Bug (42.92%) - Water (30.51%)
Primary: Fairy (48.68%) - Grass (36.05%) - Bug (26.51%)
Secondary: Grass (48.41%) - Water (20.64%) - Psychic (17.73%)
Pokedex Entry: Isolates - Mysterious - Good vibes
I just checked and there's no primary fairy / secondary grass Pokemon, I guess I'm from an undiscovered specie
Ooh an undiscovered species! It is odd that there isn't a Fairy/Grass type - I suspect that if Celebi was discovered later, we might have one, but that's just a guess.
Alternately though, you may be a regional variant from wherever you live! Your Pokedex attributes match some existing Fairy-types (specifically, Clefairy and Togetic) so you could be a Grass-secondary variation of those...
OR (since you like Ghost-types) those attributes also match up with Greavard, one of the few ghosts who gets a "Good Vibes" description...
ORRR (since you like Ice-types) perhaps a branching evolution for Snorunt, since it also fits the attributes, but its evolved forms don't fit them as well.
(or you could be literally anything else that feels right - there's just so many possibilities)
My apologies for the info dump! You gave me enough information to get me all excited. Thank you for taking the test, and also for sharing the results. :)
Really cool concept!
Though there are various types I doubt many people will get, like dark type
Thank you! :)
And you may be right - I wish so badly that I had all the data to know for sure!
I really appreciate how the possible answers are organized and diverse; usually in these tests I need to analyze every answer and guess what the author meant. It flowed naturally and I found it surprisingly deep for a Pokémon typing test.
I really didn't expect to get Fairy (monotype) - Fairy/Water. But reading the description, it makes a lot of sense.
Full results:
Monotype
Fairy (52.95%) - Steel (41.43%) - Bug (38%). I expected to get Bug. Instead I had to face the tension between my "creative autistic self" and my "depressed autistic self".
Dual type
Primary : Fairy (64.14%) - Bug (36.72%) - Grass (12.29%)
Secondary: Water (47.02%) - Fairy (25.99%) - Grass (25.67%)
Water was surprising given that it says "good at reading a situation", but the rest of the description makes sense.
Thanks for making this test, it was enjoyable! I guess I should use Marill more.
I LOVE this comment. It's so cool to see the full breakdown of your results, and I appreciate you sharing them!
I also love that you've identified 3 of the 4 types that (I think) are the neurospiciest. I'm pretty sure that all of my neurodivergent friends had results that included Bug and/or Fairy-type, with at least one Steel-type in there for flavor. :)
Thank you for all your kind words in general, and thank you for taking the test - I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
(Also, everyone should use Marill more, but that's just because they're so cute and good, I don't make the rules.)
I got bug band bug/water type and I don't know how to feel about it
I mean, I'd feel pretty okay about it, 'cuz I think Bug-types are neat, and Water-types are chill, but I get the trepidation. One of my besties got mostly Bug-types and I tried really hard to convince her that Bug-types are cool, but... nothin' doing.
I hope you're feeling good today, regardless!
Lol tbh I made this at like 2 am and I fully forgot about this it is a very fun test to do
you have a good day as well
Sorry If it felt like I was trying to criticize it
Oh no worries at all! I didn't interpret it as anything negative about the test, just a bit of friendly engagement - I'm glad you had fun!
And I had a pretty good day, thank you :)
There are actually quite a few questions where I felt none of the answers represent me.
For question 1, I'd most likely go if there's a form of entertainment I like. (games, movies, music, etc.)
For question 10, I'd never consider just tapping the lid or running water on it (I doubt either of those even work), but I have my own trick where I pry part of the lid with a knife. This is to let some air in, making the jar less vacuum-sealed and easier to open.
For question 11, I'd most likely not notice the text for real, and not because my phone is on do not disturb, but because I'm that focused on what I'm doing (or because I accidentally left my phone in another room).
For question 44, I hate conflict and wouldn't let an argument go on for that long in the first place.
This is all good information, and I will address it question-by-question!
Question 1: That's a great answer, and actually probably what I would pick a lot of the time. (Activities are enticing, and it's weird that I didn't think to include that.) I'll add it in the next update!
Question 10: My physics teacher parents would never forgive me if I didn't share this: tapping the lid (like making a small dent in it with a butter knife or something) operates on the principle you're describing, in that it distorts the lid and breaks the seal. Same thing with running the lid under hot water - the heat makes the metal expand more than the glass, so the seal is weakened. The more you know!
I can edit that answer to be a little more clear, re: tapping (so people don't think we're talking about ASMR tapping or something) and I can also include your method!
Question 11: This is a totally valid response, and I'll add it in the next update!
Question 44: This one's trickier. I also struggle to imagine letting an argument go that long, and I actually think that most people feel the same, so that question is meant to probe how one reacts when they're stuck in that frustrating situation. I've tried to avoid offering answers that are basically question skips, unless skipping the question is unusual/interesting/revealing in and of itself. Choosing to avoid the long argument seems like a thing that almost everyone would do, so I worry that I'd be missing out on more interesting data by offering that.
That said, your point is totally valid, and I don't like having questions that leave people out. There's actually a couple of questions like this that I feel need a larger overhaul, so along with those, I think I will either replace or reframe Question 44 so that it requires fewer internal caveats (or ideally, none at all!) on the part of the test-taker.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful response/suggestions! These are really helpful and I greatly appreciate you helping to improve the test :)
Ah, yeah I never would've guessed that's what "tapping the lid" means. When I hear the word "tap" I don't imagine anything remotely hard enough to make a dent.
For question 49, it felt odd that so many of the answers were negative. I'm not sure what answer I would want to see, but something along the lines of more proactively offering support; most of the given answers feel like they assume you're not very close with the roommate.
Dang, you're not wrong there... I think I must've been letting some personal experiences dictate the possible answers on that one.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention, and I'll add some more supportive responses in the next update!
Haha I got Grass as the monotype and Grass/Grass for dual. Guess that's all there is to me.
It's a chill way to be!
For question 2, I wouldn't consider them trash, but I wouldn't really have a use for them, either. Since, I don't do anything relating to construction, repairs, or arts and crafts.
Good suggestion, consider it added!
On question 23, my job would be into the deeper realms of technology - specifically, nanotechnology or possible biotechnology.
Also, on question 25, there should be an option to study as hard as possible the day before the test.
Good suggestions! For 25, that's an interesting take that I hadn't considered, and I can totally include that in the next update!
For 23, that's a completely understandable thing to ask for. However (and I hope this doesn't pull back the curtain too far) what that question is really asking around is jobs that are varying levels of physically demanding or dangerous. Since I think that most people would prefer jobs that are not dangerous or physically exhausting (a job in technology is incredibly hard, but not life-threatening), the information I want to gather with that question is about where/how someone would be able to push themselves, if they had to get a little risky.
That said, you make a good point, and I can totally see how I could rephrase the question so that folks don't feel unseen/unrepresented!
I would have liked to see question 7 have an option of "I feel no need to justify my lifestyle" or similar; it's not that I feel like I wouldn't be able to, just that I wouldn't have any interest in doing so
That is so valid, and I will definitely add that response (or something in that spirit) in the next update!
I got interesting primary and secondary types (grass and ghost). I've considered doing a grass monotype run before since it is pretty close to poison (my favorite type). This was a neat quiz!
What a coincidence! - I actually tried a Grass-only run this past week (because I was sick and stuck in bed) and somehow, this is the first time in my life that I realized that I'm actually quite bad at Pokemon strategy, so I had to change it to "MOSTLY Grass-types" to get to the end. Oh, the shame!
Anywho, Grass/Ghost is a cool combo, and I'm glad you liked the quiz! :)
Oh which gen did you run through with your grass run? I tried gen 2 with just bug once and that was brutal. There is always that one gym that always seems to give monotypes trouble in a run (mine was Jasmine).
what did you end up augmenting your grass friends with?
Gen IX... like I said, I'm really bad at strategy, even with terastallizing . I'm legit impressed that you even got to Jasmine in Gen 2 with just Bugs, especially given the first gym. That Whitney fight must've been just awful (Heracross helps, I guess?)
I ended up spicing up my Grass guys with Fairy-types - similar vibe, and having a Klefki around to no-sell the Poison offense ended up being really helpful.
I do not like how accurate this was, I feel attacked (this is a complement)
Hehe, thank you :)
I keep getting booted to Question 2 while on Question 46, if I answer the last one in the list
Ah, thank you so much for letting me know! That answer got added later in the process, and I guess it got the default scene transition code (which goes to 2).
I'm gonna go in and make sure nothing else is weird like that, but for now, that answer work should properly. Thanks again!
there should be more mono-flying types in pokemon, if not to add more varied species to the mono-flying-type card than two birds and the god of tornados.
I agree! Thank goodness for the Rookidee line, otherwise that card would be real lonely-looking.
amazing quiz, thank you so much for making this!!
thank you so much for taking it, I'm glad you liked it :)
