Continuing the factory tour theme from the past couple of weeks, today I have info and pictures from a tour of Spooky Pinball's factory in Benton, Wisconsin that Spooky Bug conducted this morning. It was really cool to see Spooky's various factory buildings over the year and how much they've grown.

Spooky currently has four games on the production line, predominantly Evil Dead, but with a few Looney Tunes, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Scooby Doo machines sprinkled in. Evil Dead is sold out, but the other three are still available to purchase.

The main factory's production line is split into two parts, one side for cabinets and one for playfields. Spooky has approximately 40 employees working at the factory every day plus a number of remote workers.

They expect for it to take the rest of 2025 and the very beginning of 2026 to finish manufacturing the 888 Evil Dead machines. Of note, Spooky sold more "Butter Cabinets" for Evil Dead than it has for any previous game. Spooky is still targeting a November / December reveal for its next game.

Spooky is now designing pinball machines that are three to four years out. Bug talked about how they continue to learn and improve their processes. That progress will be evident as new games are released. He expects the next game to be even better and more reliable than Evil Dead. Every machine they build goes through multiple days of testing at the factory.

The distributor Great American Pinball is bringing Spooky games to the upcoming Chicago Pinball Expo in October. Bug will be there on that Saturday.

Every October is Spooky Pinball's "Code Bash" where they release tons of new code for their games. Every Friday this October, and there's five of them, Spooky will release new and improved code. The games that will be getting updates next month include Evil Dead, Looney Tunes, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scooby Doo and Halloween.

Last but not least, Happy Birthday to Spooky Pinball's exclusive artist, Christopher Franchi!

It's tough to embed Facebook videos here, so below is a link to the Live Tour and a bunch of screen captures that I took.
