And you are not just a voice actor; you're also an inventor. Would you be interested in sharing your venture as the man behind Seavac - and by extension, Seapply? (2/2)
Martin T. Sherman:
Seapply is my second company and is devoted to my two projects concerned with Sargassum Fluitans and Natans. This seaweed is creating a multibillion dollar disaster for communities around the North Atlantic and the Caribbean. SeaweedCapture is a project to arrest this problem. The company’s other project SeaweedPaddock is a farm to harness the productive capability of Sargassum Fluitans and Natans to produce biocrude oil.

This seaweed can increase its mass by up to 11% per day. The US DOE's ARPAe funded the project through phase 1 which was a combined effort between myself, Baylor Univiersity, University of Southern Mississippi, University of New Hampshire and several independent engineers and specialists. Our Techno-economic analysis projected that we would produce biocrude for $30 a barrel. We are looking for funding to get us through phase 2 which would test things in the ocean.
